I'm afraid to try starting the item...the way it was handled it will probably never run right. Moral of the story is...buy your power equipment from a local retailer so you're not buying someone else's junk. "

I apologize for how the carrier handled this package while in transit to you, but as I stated in my email, we do not ship customers returns or sell open box items. All of our items are new. The Echo model # PAS-225VP with serial # T99814136xxx (serial # obfuscated for privacy) that was released to you on 4/30 was received from the factory on 4/25. We have been selling this particular item since 2012 and have never had a return for it, so the issues you've experienced are either a manufacturer packaging issue where they forgot to include something or a carrier handling issue where the box opened in transit. Either way, I would be more than happy to help you resolve this issue. Please send me a message and let me know what is missing so we can send this out to you.
