"First let me say that I totally blame myself for shopping with this American based company. Here’s my experience, I ordered a 12 cup pop out muffin baking pan from Riverbend because it was advertised as $14 with 20% off for your first purchase; great !!! What I didn’t realize before clicking the purchase button was that they charged $14 for shipping plus taxes …. Total bill $28 and some change . Ooopsie!! So I finally get this overpriced muffin pan and it’s for mini muffins not regular muffins. So I called customer service and asked for a refund which they were willing to accept but here’s the catch . The customer service rep explained the cost of the pan was around $14 and I would be responsible for costs of the return;$14. Well that was nonsensical so I asked to exchange the product for a larger muffin pan that was $15 more and was told unfortunately the company doesn’t allow exchanges. All I can say is next time I’ll stick with Amazon ; so much for trying to support American Businesses…. Stick with made in China. !!"

"I tried for two weeks to buy an American Standard model 4192 replacement toilet tank. The first online supplier notified me (a day after accepting my order) that they would have to increase our shipping charge from $31 to $225, in order to ship it by common carrier freight! Had to cancel that order. The second online supplier waited for 11 days after my order to tell me they were cancelling my order because they could not fulfill it. Then I found Riverbend -- wow! They applied an automatic 15% coupon discount to my order, shipped the tank the very next day, and delivered it two days later -- in perfect condition, with UPS Ground shipping charge of only $30! I cannot say enough good things about this company! "
"I think the bad reviews must have been Covid/Supply Chain related. I purchased 3 items and received in great condition in the promised amount of time. The largest item delivered from the manufacturer directly (set of outdoor furniture), which I would expect. Why ship something twice, if you can deliver directly to the final customer. The have a great selection and high end products not available on Amazon or Wayfarer. Price was also really good. "

It seemed too good to be true, but several days later (ahead of the anticipated shipping time) we received all of the items in great condition. They shipped directly from the manufacturer. We weren't able to order out-of-stock items like some of the other reviewers mentioned, but we were able to sign up for notifications if they come back in stock. Overall it was a great experience."
"My assumption is that there is a scam site that has a similar name, I had zero issues ordering patio furniture from Riverbend. I found adirondack chairs on Wayfair but they were backordered 12 weeks, found them on Riverbend not on backorder, and I was a little skeptical spending $850 with a site with poor reviews, but am so glad I took the chance. While the chairs took 2 days to ship, the customer service department was very quick to respond and let me know they would ship- and we we were able to get the chairs we wanted (Durogreen Adirondack Chair Set- also highly recommend). We love the chairs, and are glad we didn't have to wait until the end of the summer to get them for our poolside!"
"I found that Riverbend had the best price for 3 of the 8 ft tall Faux Kentia Palms by Vickerman. I was so happy how fast they arrived which was in 3 days. When the 3 separate boxes arrived, all were beat up and torn open, so I was worried about missing parts. Nothing was missing just a few leaves had broken off. I am so happy with how nice these look."

"I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing anything from this company. Their website states 100% money back guarantee, then you read the return policy and they say they will add a 15% restock fee and you have to pay the shipping. The shipping I can understand but the shipping was free according to the website and a restock fee for something they will just turn around and sell again, please. Later in the return policy it is added that they reserve the right to add a 30% restock fee, well the plot thickens! It also states that you have to pay the shipping fees if not canceled prior to it being shipped. I emailed them at 6:57pm on 1/27 and have my email as proof explaining that I couldn't use the almost $200 product and please tell me how to cancel. They replied back and CHANGE THE TIME OF MY INTIAL EMAIL to have been sent at 11:57pm on 1/27. I wish I could add a picture to this review. What would be the purpose in changing the time I emailed them? Maybe proof of the time it actually shipped? I mean what would be the purpose of doing that? When I reply to emails, the time doesn't change so that was intentionally done. It is dishonesty pure and simple and I'm going to blast that all over social media. Sorry, but that is very crooked and underhanded and I will be reporting them to the BBB. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH BUYING FROM SWINDLERS! "I ordered an item and paid more than what I could have gotten the same item for at a lesser price because they said lead me to believe that they had it in stock and that it would ship in 2 to 3 days. I ordered December the 8th and it didn't show up until late in the afternoon December the 23rd. I kept got what seemed to be automated emails from them saying the shipment was delayed. Delayed my foot! They "drop ship" meaning they are a middle man and simply advertise and then place an order with the original manufacturer. They didn't even bother to answer my email the 1st time around and I have to keep hounding them to try to get a response. In my opinion these sellers do not care and they are completely unscrupulous. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY ITEM IN "STOCK" like the apparently wanted me to believe. It was a sham. NEVER AGAIN!!!"

Then, through no fault of riverbend home the product arrived damage in a sealed carton from the manufacturer. They quickly gave me very my options. Very fair options, they executed immediately. I would buy from them again. "
"Ordered an heavy duty folding chair to use at the car shows . Ordered on 7-20-21 . After 7 days Order still showed processing so I called customer service. They could not explain why the order had not been sent and after calling someone in the shipping I was told it would ship that day. Finally shipped a day later. Took a week to receive chair only to find they shipped the wrong chair that cost half the price of the one I paid for. Called customer service again and was basically given the run around again and called confused by the rep. Finally asked to speak with supervisor and got the run around on that too. He's not in the office today etc. Asked to speak with his boss and told that wasn't possible. After telling them I was filing fraud charges on them rep Finally agreed to refund my money after the received the wrong chair back.
This is obviously a fly by night outfit and don't know what they are doing or worse running a scam.
