"Deceptive sales practice, they don't stock products, poor communication.

Before I placed my order, I called first and asked whether it is available in stock. The sales representative assured me that the item is in stock and ready to ship. I placed my order and waited a week for delivery or tracking number, and I didn't receive any. I called the company and they told me that the item is shipped directly from the manufacturer, and they don't have it in stock. They kept me hanging for few day and 3 more calls to know when it will ship. Then, they sent me an email and canceled my order.

So unprofessional and time waster. Don't waste your time with this company

authentic site located in nyc but they ship out in 7 Business day, plus the shipping time of deliver

"The phone lines response was quick, customer service curteous in answering questions.
They ship in 7 Business day plus the the shipping time, so in they are located in nyc and i need to ship to brooklyn ny, 7days plus 3days . Monday purchased the following tues they shipped out. You will be supporting your local business as opposed to feeding the Amazon. We used to be more patient.

Excellent Customer Service

"Updated: We received the merchandise after several calls to Riverbend Homes Customer service. Jacob and Amanda were excellent! I also had to make repeated chat contact with UPS. The merchandise was addressed to a person with a different name but our address. The person whose name was used is someone we have never heard of but they do exist in the state where we live. We received the order December 19th but it didn’t match UPS tracking...it just showed up on our door step. The merchandise was in good shape and works as expected. We got what we ordered about 3 weeks later than first promised after multiple phone calls to them and UPS. Logistics issues so only order from here if you are in no rush but they are nice folks.


So far it appears to be a scam. We ordered on November 29th. I called Customer Service number the next day to make sure everything was good with the order as this was the first time we had used this site. The confirmation email date we were given to receive the product was December 8th. Customer service agent stated the company had 2 of the items in stock (we only ordered 1) in the warehouse. There would be no problem. Our order looked good. We would receive it the week of the 7th. We tried to track the item. Nothing. We emailed and left messages on the Facebook page. We have now received a message the item will be SHPPPED at the end of the week it was due to arrive.

Not a scam, but slow

"I ordered from them and was told it was in stock and would ship in 2-3 days. It never did for almost 2 weeks. I got a confirmation of my order but never got any shipping information (because it hadn’t shipped). I wrote an email asking about my order and got nothing back. I called but their phone lines for customer service are not being used due to COVID. A few days later I wrote a somewhat angry email giving them the option to either ship my order and get a review from me letting people know it is not a scam or I would join in with all the other reviews saying they are a scam. I got a response from that email in just a few hours and amazingly my order shipped a minute later.
Just received my order and have no issues with it. So, this company is NOT a scam however their customer service is quite poor. The fact that I had to wait as long as I did before getting any response from them and only got a response after I became irritated is definitely a negative. But I did receive exactly what I ordered for less money than other sites, so that is positive.

"This one seemed legit, got a confirmation email and everything. Unfortunately the product never shipped, customer service is a bot that routes you in circles and the financials indicate a foreign based source. Bummer. "

Reputable online retailer - not the scam website that people are confusing in error.

"I have used this company "Riverbendhome.com" on several occasions to purchase various products for my home. From decor, to kitchen goods, to bath goods. Each purchase has been pleasant and my products were received in the time frame I was quoted. The customer service has been excellent with communication throughout with accurate tracking and details. This is NOT the fake website "Riverbend Shop" that people are confusing it with, please go see the differences. "Riverbend Shop" is clearly a scam when you look at the website and anyone ordering from that website should have easily seen that before making a false purchase. Please do some research before you drag a good company through the mud out of frustration of being scammed elsewhere at your own doing. Thank you "Riverbendhome.com" for my pleasant purchases and wonderful products, I will return again. I pray these false reviews from unintelligible people will come to an end for you. Great experience

"I ordered a set of Enchante towels for my two year wedding anniversary. I called and placed the order through their call center. Someone answered within 1 minute and they were very helpful. They said it would ship in 2 to 3 days, but I actually received the next day. Free shipping too, so very happy with that. The towels showed up in good shape and wife loves them so, win!"

"I placed this order before seeing the reviews here and was a little nervous that I wasn't going to see my purchase for weeks, especially because I had opted for free ground shipping. The website didn't have any useful information (when I checked, nothing indicated that my item had shipped), but three business days from order placement to receipt is on par with Amazon. Ground shipping from New Hampshire to California is typically five days, so I can only assume my free shipping was expedited. "

No response

"I emailed about my order which was to take 2 to 4 weeks. Never got a response, so I called
today to find that it would be at least two more weeks to have item sent to them and then on to me!! How long would that take??
I asked them to cancel order. We'll see how that goes.

They also never sent an email verification for my order.

Would not order from these folks again.

Still waiting

"I ordered a toilet tank lid on November 6, 2018. It is now the end of January 2019 and still no item. They have offered two token 5% discounts after begging the company to make this right. The customer service individuals are kind, but I feel that the company ties their hands from actually solving problems. Hope I get my items soon. Too bad they are more concerned with bottom lines than making a good buying experience for the customers. Avoid if you can!"

Horrible Company - Horrible Customer Service

"This company is the WORST. I placed an order on April 28th. It is May 30th and still nothing. I have called two times. Each time I've spoken with someone who basically could care less about anything pertaining to my online order. Today when I called, the Riverbend Home associate that I spoke with could definitely understand that I was really unhappy but seemed to want me to shut up and hang up the phone! Don't EVER buy anything from them - they are absolutely terrible and they help the world to continue ordering everything from the really huge well known companies and never give the smaller or new ones a chance. Way to go Riverbend Home! Keep up the good work and you will hopefully be out of business by mid year!"

Late.........Late............Late and never received order?

"I ordered my sink for a remodel project and was told it would ship in 3-5 days. Well that was almost 3 weeks ago and here again I am on the phone with RiverBend asking while they are checking with the vendor. 5 days ago they assured me I would have it this week. My fabricators need it tomorrow. Representative from RiverBend just told me that the Vendor "never" received the order???? WTF! I am requesting to over night this and they do not know if they can do that . Wouldn't trust a response any way as 5 days ago they promised I would have it this week."

HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS?

"I placed my order on April 29 and received no email confirmation. I know that I input my email correctly, because they sent an ad to my inbox. After confirming that my card had been charged, I emailed to ask about my purchase—no response. The only thing I had was an order number, so I checked on the status of my shipment through their website. On an item that they advertised should take two days to dispatch, the page always said that it had not yet shipped. Fed up after eight days of radio silence, I called to try to cancel the order. After being on hold for twenty minutes, listening to BS like "we know your time is important to you," I was finally put on the phone with someone named Mark. I gave him my order number and told him that I wished to cancel—he put me on hold to see if the item had shipped and then ... *click* ... he hung up on me! But guess what, I went back to the order status page (which I had checked just minutes earlier) and it magically refreshed, saying that the item shipped FOUR DAYS AGO and will be arriving tomorrow. The moral of this story? Never, EVER, buy from Riverbend. To say they have poor customer service suggests that they have any at all."
