" a very bad experience with an Ashley living room set in less than 1 year from purchase they replaced all the cushions 3 times what a waste they completely smash down I dont think rooms and things did enough on my behalf to receive a refund or do and exchange they kept giving me the run around that Ashley refused to do either ..I paid over 1,000 dollars I purchased it in Feb of last year and it looks 5 years old"

"We were very nervous purchasing furniture online. We were afraid it wouldnt come, we would be scammed etc. What an awesome experience. The people at rooms and things are very friendly. They answered all our questions and helped us along with the process. The furniture arrived within a couple weeks - right on the schedule they provided for us. Given that is was tnear Thanksgiving is impressive. There was some minor damage to the table. Since it wasnt fixable they offered a discount that worked for us. the fruthiture is beautifula nd its barely noticeable. Prices were great as well... We willdefinnitely shop there again.

"I honestly cannot believe how this company is in business. I ordered a nightstand from their website, and I received an e-mail confirmation the same day showing I had requested the stand. Two days later, I received another e-mail update stating the order was being processed. So far, so good. I waited for almost 1 ½ weeks to receive a shipping tracking number, but nothing came. I contacted customer service, and the rep said it would take another week or so to "get the item from the warehouse" and then it would be on route for delivery. Ok, no big deal, I was not in a rush, but I was wondering - what had the warehouse been up to in the last week?!? But after another week went by with still no tracking number, I called customer service and again asked for a status. The rep could not give me a status, but assured me they would return my call and let me know. The rep called back and left a voicemail stating the night stand would ship in 3-5 business days. Seriously!?! By this time, the order is 23 DAYS old. So I waited again for 3-5 business, like an idiot, and still no shipping tracking number. But the company did charge my credit card! I was livid. When I spoke with customer service for what seemed like the 100th time, I was informed that I would receive a tracking number via e-mail the following Monday - it was a Friday! I said that it was completely unexpectable!!! Now the order is officially OVER 30 DAYS OLD. I could have ordered this from another store and received tracking/shipping confirmation within 2 days and the item within a week. Currently, they offered to take $20.00 off the order - which is less than 10% of the price - and that I would receive a tracking notice by the end of the day via e-mail. Bottom line: If you love getting the run-around from customer service and not receiving your orders in a timely fashion, then make all your furniture purchase with Room & Things. Next time, I’ll buy locally.

"I ordered a couch and loveseat. I first found the product at an Ashley store about 50 miles from my house. They wanted to charge me $250 to deliver. So I looked online to find the same product and found Rooms and Things had the same price, but free 'curbside' delivery, even though it came from back east. Everything went very smoothly and the delivery man was kind enough to bring them close to the door."
