After extensive searches at different furniture stores, I saw the sofa set at Ashley’s that my wife and I absolutely loved but the price was a bit steep, so I decided to go online and continue my search, rooms and things came up along with other online furniture stores, I browsed those all those, admittedly with some good deals, but once I browsed Rooms and Things they seem to have a very extensive online collection, even the Ashley signature set that I fell in love with at the Ashley store, from this point I decided to search their site, what was so impressive about them is that they offered free shipping alone with the discounted price of the set, I honestly compared everything before decidedly buying, I truly believe no other site can come close to their service, even the same warranty offered at the store was significantly cheaper than Ashley’s. I recommend you do your research on your furniture but R&T is the best shop around. Again thanks R&T for such great service. "I research companies before ordering online, which is why I am writing this review. I shopped online but actually called Rooms and Things to place my order. The sales rep. I spoke with said the piece I wanted was back-ordered but gave specific dates that it would be shipped and recieved. The date's were acurate. She was took her time with my order to insure everything was placed correctly. The free shipping was another big plus. They used YRC freight to ship. We were told it was curb side delivery only. The driver went above and beyond. It was raining when he came and if you read the shipping instructions they say to carefully inspect the shipment before signing the delivery slip. Terry (the driver) helped my husband and I carry the sectional into the house, took off all of the packaging and waited till I was satisfied. Great price, Great Customer Service, Overall Great experience."
"I placed an order in the morning and that afternoon they called me to say the item was discontinued and gave me to option to get a King size instead of the California King I needed or cancel. Well a King won't do me any good when I needed a Cali King so I cancel. The process went real easy and I was very happy with the quick response they gave. "The Ashley Bittersweet Bed collection that I purchased is just BEAUTIFUL!!!! All pieces ordered came all the same day. The delivery people from Land Air Express were wonderful! They coordinated every detail with us until it was here. My only complaint is that we were short a lot of screws, washers and bolts. Thanks to the directions saying exactly what was needed to put the bed together we were able to purchase what we needed through our local Home Depot. We love the bed and all the furniture very much and will proabably order more in the future!"

"I recently ordered the Martini queensized platform bed and (2) matching night stands from Rooms and Things as they had the best price I could find. The free shipping was also a major consideration as even local storefront vendors were charging a delivery fee. The Martini (5) piece bedroom set also carried a slightly larger discount from buy the pieces individually. I tried ordering the (3) items but was incorrecty entering the items so I called the 800 number. The agent answered within 60 seconds, was extremely helpful and even offered to provide the (5) piece set larger discount pricing on my (3) item order! The delivery arrived as expected via Yellow Freight and was carted to my garage for unpacking. The shipment looked fine with no obvious damage and the driver left. I began unboxing and discovered one of the night stands had some damage to its top surface and I promptly called to explain the situation. I fully expected to get the supervisor run-around having to explain the situation multiple times to multiple people. Once again, my call was answered within 60 seconds and the agent that answered was once again very helpful, professional, and empowered to make the decision to do the right thing! Almost without question she apologized for the inconvenience and offered to replace the nightstand ASAP. The oreder was placed and a delivery date via FedEx was provided. Throughout all of this,my login account on www.roomsandthings.com website was updated with my situation and the next expected contact time. The replacement arrived with no damage and I now have a perfectly intact set of bedroom furniture that looks great. In this day of deminishing customer service and rude support agents, I was extremely impressed and completely caught off-guard by my entire experience with Rooms and Things. I have been in the customer service industry for 22 years and vary rarely feel the need to respond to customer service interactions that are either outstanding or poor, in fact I am usually so disappointed in organizations that I have given up on providing feedback due to lack of action on their part to correct the complaint. (Delta Airlines comes to mind!). However, in this case, I felt compelled to offer my story as I truly appreciate the high level of service I received from Rooms and Things! Thank you for restoring my belief that America can still provide a quality interaction with the buying public and treat them with respect! "The Rooms and Things order process was simple and our bedside tables arrived looking exactly as we expected - no ugly surprises. My only concern was that the delay between placing the order and our actual receipt of product took longer than I expected. Just as I was planning to look up the order and contact the company, I had a call from a customer service rep. Our order was ready to ship but, because more than 30 days had passed since I'd placed it, she needed my credit card info again. She did laugh when I asked why I should beleive a random person calling to ask for my credit info and she graciously gave me her name and phone number so that I could call back to verify. All in all, it was a good experience and I'll look at Rooms and Things the next time I need to order furniture."

"DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE MORONS!!!! Our 3 items were supposed to be delivered last week. The truck called & we left work to be here for delivery & only one piece showed up. When we called R & T, they had LOST THE OTHER 2 PIECES!! They were finally located in San Diego! We live in freaking Georgia!!! They then told us it would be here MOnday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday, then they finally admit IT IS LOST AGAIN!!! THESE HAVE TO BE THE MOST INCOMPETENT PEOPLE IN BUSINESS!! I WILL DOING A CHARGE BACK ON MY CREDIT CARD! MORONS!!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU LOSE THE SAME ORDER TWICE!
