"I ordered a 80" TV through their website which had free shipping listed. I then received the expected call for accessories and up sell. What I didn't expect was that the item I bought and paid for with free shipping listed on the invoice was about to go up in price by $500.
James explained how they can't ship this item for free and it needs special delivery due to its size. I explained that I had purchased this item and had an invoice that included on it as an item was a shipping cost of $0.00. He countered with he couldn't ship it that way and it would require an additional $500.
I then said I wanted to cancel my order. He said he would do that. I really wanted to cancel this as this was getting into illegal territory with these cost changes and I think he was expecting me to haggle. When he realized I wanted to cancel he told me to call back when I was ready to buy a TV and their prices are the best. I have yet to receive a confirmation for cancelling the order.
I contacted my credit card company to ensure no costs are charged. During looking for a TV after this I found one from a big box store for $75 less. What a frustrating waste of time.

"I ordered a Canon 6D camera with a Canon 28MM to 200MM lense. Morris called me to explain the difference between the U.S. model and the much cheaper model they advertised. I went ahead chose the U.S. model with the lens, which Morris checked to see if it was compatible at an additional $500.00. I also paid for next business day shipping. Well, to my surprise, when I received the package there was no lens. I immediately contacted them, issued a refund for the unshipped lense and gave me an additional discount for the trouble. They do care about their customers. I have given this establishment a well deserved 5 STARS!!!"

"Ooooookkkkkkk! Talking about scared. On July 17th i placed an order online for an Canon T4i lense and a bunch of accesories. When Inrecieved the confirmation email for the order I saw that the free shipping would take forever. I called customer serice on the very next day and Spoke with Steve. I explained to hiim that I wanted to upgrade the shipping to FedEx. He started talking really fast, not even addressing mynorginal concern with shipping, about the camera I order was not a USA camera and The camera I order the warrrent is notbvalid. He could upgrade the shipping to FedEx, the battery would jot be a 30 min battery, and i would get a 3 year warrenty for an additional $120.00.
I upgraded the order, but the confirmation email that was sent to me was the exact same order that I placed the previous day, but with the additional $120.00 upgrade charge. So, i called and spoke with Steve again, he sent me an email with the updated informaion, but when I go to the website and log in to my account it shows all of the previous orders information once again with the upgraded charge. When I called again, he starting talking really fast saying that there are trust isseus between he and I. Uh! Yea, I don't know you from a can of paint. Steve told me that i wouldnrecieve my camera within 3 to 5 business days. We will see. Since the order has not shipped.......... I think I am going to just cancel the order. "

"So far Ryther Camera is much better to deal with. Steve was very pleasant to work with and answered all of my questions. He went out of his way to work with me and even sweetened the deal a little! Back in March I purchased this same camera from Best Choice Camera howerver they never delivered. Every time I called William told me two more weeks . .. 7 days . .. next week ... "I did a lot of internet research to finally pick the projector I wanted and find the best price from a reputable company. That is how I found Ryther Camera.
I placed the order online and then received a call from Steven who pointed out a few options I might want to take advantage of including a 3D glasses package and a bulb replacement warranty that were both great deals when I really crunched the numbers. He was very helpful.
A little while later I realized I still needed a ceiling mount kit for a sloped ceiling and called Steven back to see what he recommended I go with. The experience was very smooth.

"Well the assistant named James was excellent and let me know about an opportunity I overlooked for overnight shipping and got me it anyways. He was very helpful and nice to talk to. If all of your employees are like that, I think you have yourself a successful business. The only thing I do not agree with is that someone else contacted me and said they needed me to send pictures of myself with my id and my debit card to prove it is me who owns the card and that made me feel very wary of this website seeing as i have never had to do that before.
