"I came across this site this past holiday season, looking for a hoodie for a gift. I had searched amazon. The one I liked, which is very different, was on sammy dress. I ended up ordering 4 hoodies and 2 tops from sammy. Unfortunately, 2 hoodies were out of stock. The site did not say that. When I contacted them about this, they informed me then and suggested I order something else. When I told them of the new item, they then informed me to choose something with a certain shipping time, to ensure instock. Needless to say, I ended up with a refund.
As far as size, I cannot wear shirts with tight sleeves, so the tops were giving away. However, the 2 hoodies I did get fit the recipients very well (and 1 is very ****, for her b/c of reviews, I ordered her a size bigger). Lastly, I paid for expedited shipping to ensure I'd get the items on time. I did not."

"I started buying from S/Dress about 7 months ago and in that time have bought quite a few items. Unlike some, I've had no problems either with the site, the clothes or customer service. All 3 have been solid. The clothes are really cheap by UK standards and while yes, some are thin material, that doesn't bother me, given that some UK designers manage to charge ridiculous amounts for clothes you could spit through (literally!!). And the odd time I've needed to use C/Services I've found them better than some UK similar sites - they always answer within 24 hrs & are extremely polite and helpful. Sizing is on the small size and delivery can take up to 3 weeks but those aren't a problem so long as you keep them in mind when ordering.
So I'm certainly more than happy to recommend them."

I waited over 1 month for 2 jackets I ordered. When I received them they were not the jackets I ordered. Their website says they will pay you back in full if they send you the wrong items including your shipping costs. This is not true. They are ripping people off and stealing. They send you the wrong item and then do not refund you your money. They only want to refund me 20% of the item cost and no shipping costs to be refunded. THis is stealing! "
"Although I've heard bad reviews about Sammydress, I wanted to give an honest one about the braided wig I received from them. This wig was truly amazing! I was shocked that the wig looked better than the picture and it came to me fairly quick to be coming from China. I advise if you do not like the clothes, at least try the braided wigs. Very happy!! "This is by far one of the WORST sites I have ever had the displeasure of buying from. I do believe they make the majority of their money from "one time first buyer" shoppers as I can't see for the life of me how people would continuously shop from this site. Their products are replicas or "close to" offerings of what they show. I recently brought a wig from there judging from the picture they had plastered on their site, They messed up the order, I had mistakenly paid them twice, to which they replied "no I didn't, they only received one payment". Thank God I had used PayPal and they took it from there on my behalf clearly showing that I did indeed pay them twice. They refunded me one amount and finally sent me my wig. Low and behold, the damn thing did not look anything like the wig they pictured!. The picture clearly showed a straight, short, layered style, I received a short curly, layered wig that was slightly styled like the picture. I kept it because it was human hair or else it would have went back. This is how they operate, hoping that you would at least be satisfied with your purchase and keep it because the cost was cheap. And Never pay with a credit Card, always go through PayPal. Personally I am done with this. I have read many reviews, and they are all the same, "did not look anything like the picture". Don't waste your time. "
"I ordered a black sweatshirt. They sent me a black and brown sweatshirt. First time I submitted a ticket to customer service they never responded. Several weeks later, I submitted it again. They refuse to give me a refund for their screw up unless I pay return shipping. Two months after I placed the order and it is still not resolved. Very sorry I ever did business with them.
Now they have "resolved the issue" (my credit card company refunded me, not them!) and offered my a coupon (read bribe) to modify my review."
