"VERY SLOW SHIPPING. It takes 2-3 times longer than an average online store. MATERIAL AND QUALITY OF CLOTHING IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I bought a dress that's supposed to be business casual, and I don't think I can wear it anywhere just because of how cheap looking it is. It's made out of the absolute cheapest material I have ever seen. The outfits sometimes look similar to the picture on the website, but sometimes it's completely different with a different pattern. Yes the clothes are priced pretty cheap, but you end up paying double or triple once you add shipping charges. YOU'RE BETTER OF BUYING SOMEWHERE ELSE. I'm not even sure how they are able to run because this was just awful. I will not be buying here again. "

"I wrote an honest review about the Preppy Style Women's Round Neck Color Block Letter Print Long Sleeve Flocking Sweatshirt, but Sammy Dress never posted it because everything I had to say was not all what they wanted. Those who ONLY wrote nice flowery things about Sammy Dress got their reviews posted.

I wrote how the sweater was indeed warm, but it is see-through! Someone can tell the color of your bra or something without a proper shirt on the inside. And if you want to put a long sleeve in the inside to keep warm, forget it! The sweater does not allow room for that. I am pretty slim and petite, so I know what it means not to have enough room for a second layer.

I also wrote how the logo on the sweater was made incorrectly and was supposed to be covering the bust, not stitched below it. It makes you, your chest, and the sweater look funny. The customer pictures even show you how off it is!

If I had known Sammy Dress was going to not post my review for their product, I would not have spent an hour on it trying to give important information for the next customer.

Yes I loved the prices, I love what Sammy Dress has to offer because it beats many retail stores, and the customer service is awesome, but this sweater just was not right.

"I have heard a lot of good and bad about the website so I decided to try it out for myself. I ordered a bunch of jewelry and a jacket. It took what I would say is normal shipping time for free shipping from such a distance, I was not too bothered with it because I knew it would be 2-4 weeks. It was nicely packaged, nothing was damaged.
I had 2 stragglers that had to be shipped out later due to them not being in stock and so did not write my review on it and their customer service contacted me to ask if I had recieved the items and if I had any issues with anything, which I greatly appreciated it felt like they were looking out for me.
Everything is super cheap, which usually means bad quality, well it does not appear to be the case here, all of my items are very lovely and sturdy and well made. The only thing is be careful of sizes those models are super teeny, so sizing is a bit odd. But even if you wind up getting something too small, the items are cheap and you can turn the item into a gift (which I did).
Overall I am completely satisfied with what I got, I would recommend this site to others and I will definitely buy from them again. "

"I am a proud online shopper and I find Sammy Dress a very delightful place to buy things for myself and my daughter. I have mostly ordered summer wear but I am thinking of purchasing some sweaters and boots for this winter. My summer swimwear was for a cruise and it worked perfectly. I have never had any issues or concerns. My only advice would be to follow their size charts completely, their clothes tend to run smaller than american sizes. The photos on their website are not their clothes. They have pinched the photos from somewhere else and the clothes they send are shoddy, low quality imitations from China. False advertising!

I ordered three items but only received two. The quality is so poor I will probably not wear them. "

Obviously, since they were never worn, and I simply didn't like the quality, they aren't defective. They further offered me a 20% refund. Scam!"

Out of fairness, I am updating my review. After weeks of going back and forth with "Josslyn" who resonds to "tickets" on the SammyDress website, I decided to open a dispute/claim thru PayPal. SammyDress first refused my requests to be refunded, but finally refunded the entire amount. If you are experiencing problems obtaining a refund, I suggest that you open a dispute/claim thru PayPal (if you paid using PayPal that is).

My expectations of doing business with an overseas company are completely realistic. I do not expect to receive the items quickly, nor do I expect them to be of the very best quality. I am very aware of the saying - You get what you pay for. However, I have placed two orders with SammyDress, and I have had missing items each time. I placed my 1st order on September 25, 2015 and received it on October 20, 2015, but it was missing one shirt that cost about $7. I contacted SammyDress about it and was told that they had proof that it had been sent to me and in order for them to refund or re-send the item I would have to send them a picture of the package the way I had received it to show signs of damage. Of course I had already ripped it open and thrown the envelope away, so I accepted the loss and still gave them another try. This time I ordered 8 items on October 29, 2015. I received 5 of the items within a few weeks, but it is now December 17, 2015 and I still have not received the remaining 3 items. SammyDress has responded to my tickets basically saying that the 3 items were mailed separately on November 5, 2015 and they will not consider refunding or re-sending my items until February 5, 2016. So now when you total both orders, I have lost about 30 dollars, which is not a whole lot, but I certainly will not be risking anymore of my money with them. If you do order clothing from them, my advice is to make sure you go by the measurements on their size guide chart. Those measurements are accurate - you can NOT just order your U.S. size, it will be 10 sizes too small. Good Luck."
