"I purchased a refrigerator from Sears Outlet on May 22nd, it was delivered on June 8th after many issues with delivery and them not calling or returning my calls to set up the delivery (even at one point they told me the delivery driver was involved in a car accident and that's why they never showed up - this was after me getting no response and driving down to the warehouse). On June 18th my refrigerator and freezer stopped working. I called Sears Outlet and was told to come down to the warehouse. I went down where they instructed me to purchase a $300+ protection agreement so the repair would be covered because their NEW refrigerator was SOLD AS IS. I was told not to call until the following Monday as this would look like I was trying to scam them (not sure how this makes sense because I ONLY had this fridge for a few days before it went out!). I called Monday June 20th, they scheduled an appt for June 25th. Technician came and ordered 2 new parts, a diffuser and a motherboard. These parts arrived via UPS on July 1st. They scheduled an appt. for July 15th. Technician Tomasz K. showed up and let me know that the incorrect part was ordered and there was a different issue than originally discovered on June 25th. We rescheduled for July 31st (today). Tomasz K. showed up again and stated that the parts were delivered and must have been stolen. I receive notifications and never was there anything delivered. He called and was informed that order was never placed. My husband asked to speak with his supervisor and was told "that's not how it works". He left our home telling us there was nothing he could do today. I called Sears Home Services and spoke with Max was told I should have my unit replaced as this is a lemon, they transferred me to the Protection Agreement Department after 1 hour and 17 mins on hold I was connected to Manager Marcus. Marcus was extremely rude and disrespectful and told me I could rent (SPEND MORE MONEY) another refrigerator until they got the part in but they would NOT replace my unit as I needed 4 repairs in 1 year before they could replace it and we were only mid replacement 1. I have been without a refrigerator for a month and a half. We are a family with 4 children and this has been a beyond frustrating experience. I need your help! I need a working refrigerator. This has costed me almost $2000 with the cost of the fridge, the protection agreement and the food I had to throw away. I'm in tears with frustration as I write this because no one will help me!"
"I purchased a washer and dryer online at searsoutlet.com and was never contacted by the store for delivery. The dryer was being delivered from the Griggs Location and the washer from the Spring location. I finally reached a rep from the Griggs location and was informed they had been busy but they could deliver the following day. My delivery fee was $89.99 because I purchased online ($70.00 for delivery purchased in-store, go figure), when the delivery man arrived he connected the wires but not the flex hose rendering the dryer unusable. Maria L. at the Spring store informed me there would be an additional $15 cash installation fee in addition to the $89.99 delivery fee to install the washer, I spoke with someone at the "corporate office" (1-***-***-****) and was informed that all deliveries within the city limits included installation. There is so much discord and misinformation with Sears Outlet (American Freight) I would not recommended anyone purchase anything from them."
"Do not shop at sears outlet. I purchased items over a month ago. One item was delivered but the wrong color and still haven't received the new one. The other item I purchased, and they sold it to someone else and they kept my money for 3 weeks. This is THEFT. I am still dealing with them to fix this issue.
The store manager and district manager of the Florence KY store were unhelpful and didn't seem to care.
Do not waste your time. I'm in over a month with no results, other than countless emails and a headache.

"We bought a dryer and got it home and it did not work. Returned it and got a second one and brought it home and it did not work either and was scratched up also. Both of these were in closed original boxes. Manager at the store stated that some of their merchandize has been in someone's home for as much as 6 months and then is brought back and refurbished and sold as new. Manager went on to state that he had 4 dryers already brought back in the last 2 days for the same issues and he thought they had been damaged in shipping, but did not know which ones came off of that shipment as they had been mixed in with others. When he sold the second one to us he also convinced us to by a 5 year extended warranty. It was a pain to try and get our money back so we could go elsewhere. Will probably never buy anything else from Sears Outlets again. Manager was also rude and called my husband liar. Hard to get ahold of called 4 times and was put on hold for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Manager was argumentative. "
"I ordered a refrigerator in early November. After charging my account they didn’t call me to advise they couldn’t deliver my refrigerator. When I called they told me to arrange for my own delivery although the price included delivery to my home. Although online orders were not cancellable since they couldn’t deliver it they said they’d refund me. Long story short, they charged my account for $1100 more than 2 months ago, and they are now saying that the order should have been cancelled but was not. Pleas wait they say. If customers don’t stay in top, no one follows up with delivery or refund. This sounds very much like a scam. "

"The short version of what happened: It's been 1.5 months since we ordered our washer / dryer and we have the wrong washer / dryer sitting in our garage.
We ordered a washer / dryer. 3 weeks later we notice that the balance was refunded to us. No call, email or any type of notification. We called the store 5 times over the proceeding 3 weeks. They couldn't figure out what to do and promised they would call us back within a day each time. They didn't call us back a single time. Eventually we get them to order us new machines and the wrong ones arrived (and they forgot the hose). I'm sitting here on hold waiting to talk to the next person after being transferred for the sixth time. The last lady I talked to said she couldn't help me because I ordered it in store. I then told her that I ordered it online and she said she couldn't help me because I ordered it online."
"I ordered a solar address sign from them on June 6th. While it arrived as scheduled, it arrived missing a key part (one of the stakes for the ground). Without this part, the sign is useless. I emailed these people twice, only to be ignored. Good luck getting any resolution with these people. May as well flush your money down the toilet! BUYER BEWARE!!!"
"I'm very disappointed at how my mother was treated at the Arlington, TX store. I have called the store literally for 2 hours and nobody will answer the phone.
She bought a dryer there - leased it. We ended up speaking to 4 different sales people by the time it was done. Not one person stayed with us the entire time. They kept handing us off to someone else. After she paid her first payment and we got the paperwork, I asked if it came with a plug and the cashier said she was pretty sure it did. Come to find out, the delivery person told my mom that they do not come with one and she would have to buy one from him for 15 dollars cash! She paid 90 dollars to Sears for delivery and install. The delivery guy did not hook it up to the vent hose that I left attached to the wall out in the open to be seen. My son in law is trying to connect it now and said it is all torn up which means instead of the person connecting it, they just scooted the dryer onto the hose causing us to HAVE to go spend more money. I'm super disappointed and going to put a very bad review against the store and delivery person when I am done with this. At the least, the store should knock off the 90 dollar delivery fee for what we had to go through.
My daughter just called and finally got the store to answer and talked to the manager. Apparently we had to dry the vent hose and the plug but not ONE of the freakin 4 sales people bothered mentioning this to my senior citizen mom who is on a fixed income. She said he acted like he could care less."
"I brought a GE Washer BRAND NEW. After 30 days I had issues with washer not washing Yes I gotten the 3 yr warranty and had someone come out multi times to fix this and replace part not locking lid NOT DRAINING WATER . I was told by 3 different maintenance workers that they sold me a piece of crap washer. Just a week FEB 28 ,2019 NOW SAME ISSUE VERY CAREFUL WHEN I CLOSE IT AND KEEP IT CLEAN... "I keep calling the customer service and they keep telling me they will send an email to the processing center and someone will update me within the next 24-48 hours. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get the status of the delivery, I escalated the issue to a supervisor and he assured me that he would follow up and someone will contact me in 24-48 hours. I knew it was a false promise but gave the supervisor another chance. Still no word from sears. At this point, I don't even know what to do next. I will never buy anything from sears and advice others to stay away from searsoutlet.com."
"I bought both an expensive dishwasher and refrigerator from Sears Outlet last year. Both were highly rated. Both were repaired incorrectly. Both had to be replaced with new appliances after a few months.
