All aboard the struggle bus...

"The entire experience of trying to get this part was so, so difficult. From the beginning, it was just problem after problem. My washing machine had a faulty valve that I needed to replace. I got online to searspartsdirect.com because a family friend linked me the page. I confirmed that it was the appropriate part using the part number, model number, and serial number and everything indicated that it was correct. I was a little shocked at the price for shipping so I called to see if it was available in store. It was not, and the representative began pressuring me to purchase it over the phone. I let him know that I wanted to price compare a bit and was not ready to order, but he continued to pressure me until I hung up. I really needed the part, so I eventually ordered it online through searspartsdirect.com and paid for expedited shipping because I needed my washer to work. Obviously, most customers can't afford to wait many weeks and do the same so the price of shipping is gouged. The part came a day later than stated, which ordinarily wouldn't be an issue except I paid $28 to have it arrive early. When I finally got it, it wasn't wrapped in anything, just loose in a cardboard box banging around. I tore into the machine with the help of my dad (he took time out of his schedule to come help me). We discover that it is the wrong part and cannot fit. We call customer service and are told that even though both parts are indicated for the same model number, there is a 50/50 chance it will fit the particular machine. This made no sense to me. My dad asked on the phone how to proceed and the person rudely tells him that we should have placed the order by phone in the first place. We are encouraged to return the part and reorder the correct one by phone. Because of this, we are greatly inconvenienced because we now a) have to make a trip to UPS to return the part b) have to wait several more days to fix the machine which is now opened up and c) missed out on the 15% online only coupon I had which d) increased the cost of shipping further because it was in a new cost bracket. Maybe this is why I wanted to order online in the first place? Plus, I carefully checked the web page to match model numbers etc and there was nothing about the part potentially not fitting. To the rep's credit, they agreed to refund the cost of the original shipping which was appreciated. The day the second part is supposed to arrive comes and goes, and again it comes late, again loose in the box. There are no instructions, diagrams, anything like that. The manual is behind a paywall. We finally got it fixed, but for about 1/3 the cost and 1/6 the time we could have gone to a local parts store. Not at all worth it.

Unacceptable customer service

"If I could give them Zero stars, I would, but the system won't activate without at least one. I will never order from Sears Parts Direct again. Terrible customer service. I tried to order tires for my riding mower, website stated parts were available. Ordered on 17 Apr 17, and paid for expedited shipping, when the tires didn't show by the 21st, called and was told they were not available and had to contact the "manufacturer" for shipping status, and I would have tires in 5-7 business days, called back on 27th, no status, no tires, and no help. I must have talked to 9 different people, including the parts department manager. (at least that is what she said she was) no one can get me a status on the tires and no one can give me my money back. I am calling the escalation department tomorrow and going up their food chain until I either get over-nighted tires or a full refund.
word to the wise, do not do business with Sears Parts Direct, you will just get the run around.

RIP OFF !!

"Unfortunately Sears is the only place I found that sold the part I needed. I placed my order and paid for it with my debit card the part with shipping was 57.39 - which I authorized, Sears felt the need to debit me an additional $ 64.00 for what? who knows... they don't know, I don't know - but they did it - now I have to go through all this BS with the bank to get my $ 64.00 back - if you can buy your part elsewhere it would be best. no wonder this company is going out of business, seems like now they have resorted to stealing too.

Horrible service

"I should read the reviews before order a part from this company. Horrible and horrible service. My part order was lost in shipping and they charged me again the re-shipped part. The whole process took 3 hours for 3 days straight to determine that the first shipment was a lost. Neve never order from this company again.

Horrible

"I paid an outrageous amount ($38+) to ship a part for my refrigerator and one week later the order is still pending. This is for an item that was supposedly in stock. If at all possible, don't get your parts through Sears PartsDirect."

Total Scam and can't get the defective part replaced on my 2 year old high end Sears Dishwasher

"Ordered the part Jan 6, 2017 for defective part that has been replaced from a plastic to a stainless steel part. They charged my credit card and told me the part was in stock. Right before I'm supposed to receive it, I get an e-mail saying it is again back
ordered. This happens about every 10 days. It is now March 22, 2017 and I see I will never get it and have a big piece of lumber in my new dishwasher so the rack won't fall down as they won't send the part I purchased. Now the TV news tells me Sears is about to go out of business and I'm stuck with a dishwasher that is defective and I paid over $900 for it and was supposed to be top of the line. Terrible company. Sears is no longer a quality company and cares nothing about their repeat customers or any customers.

Id rather order from Satan himself

"Probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had ordering from an online retailer. On their website it shows that the part that I ordered is in stock. I wanted to be 100% sure of it so I called and confirm with their parts department. They confirmed to me that they had the number that I requested ready to be shipped out. I go ahead and order the item online. They charged me for the order and then I see that they have cancelled my order because the part is not in stock! I mean you have got to be joking! Their online store still says the part is in stock! It seems like some sort of scam they are running. They were quick to charge my card but I have yet to get a refund. Their Left Hand vs Their Right Hand = My Middle fingers

"Online website reflects that parts is available for pick-up today at a location. Waited for a status update. Called the number at the pick-up location. Phone does not work. Called a number from google. Store indicates location does not offer parts pick-up. Store location transfer to the Alabama call center. I place a verbal order to reorder the part. 30 minutes later I get a call saying part will be ready for pick up. I am told the the original order number is a bbop number and that my new order is a fusion order. I picked up my fusion order. I'm now trying to cancel my bbop order. Sears PartsDirect chat indicated I need to call the store handling the bbop order and provided me with the non-working number once again. With the wonders of technology available, it's a mystery why Sears PartsDirect can't get their house in order to provide great customer service. Apparently, its a low priority "

Lousy

"Ordered and was charged for priority delivery of an "in stock" part for a washing machine. The part never shipped, never arrived and customer service was of zero help. They had lost of excuses, blaming the warehouse, computers, part numbers and everything under the sun. Twice they claimed the part had shipped, but were unable to produce a tracking number. My credit card was charged before the part was supposedly shipped in direct violation of google trusted store policy. Priority shipping is nothing more than something they will try and credit back to you to appease you when your order does not ship. Its unlikely they have any uncommon wear part in actually in stock, regardless of their websites claims.
Don't waste your time here trying to fix a broken appliance.

Horrible service

"I ordered something for pickup because they state "pick up today", well it wasn't ready the same day, but two days later. Of course I had to wait 10 days before I could actually pick it up. When I got there, the cashier wanted to be cute and guess my name... after the 10th name she finally gave up. Then she couldn't find my order at all. I mistakingly pulled up the wrong order on my phone, and she had me go to a different Sears to pick up the part. After 20 minutes of driving I discovered my mistake.

I decided to call the store rather than drive 20 minutes back to the original store. I asked them to ship it to me, which they agreed to do.

I never got the package and had to dispute the charges to get my money back. If they had just said on the website that it wouldn't be ready to pickup for two days I would have had it shipped in the first place. I don't mind employees horsing around, but I've now spent 2 hours between driving and phone calls to get a $20 part.

I swear anytime I have to deal with Sears I regret it. When will I learn?

In stock, Billed, back ordered with no notice(would rate zero if available)

"Ordered a elect on it board for failed refrigerator board from Sears Parts Direct because they indicated it was in stock. Paid premium to get expedited delivery (2Day). Checked order status next day, found that part was backorder. Contacted Sear Direct parts about backorder was informed that not only was I deceived on availability of part but they had already charge my credit card for the part including the edpedited delivery. Canceled order and was told that funds would not be credited back for 7-10 business days."

What a waste!

"Despite what someone else said, this site is associated with Sears. They link to it, and I think they are associated. In my case I ordered a dryer part Saturday night and paid $45 for expedited shipping (yes, $45). Normally that means they ship it Monday, and it arrives Wednesday. It is Wednesday night, there is no update in the website tracking and when I chatted with someone, they say it will arrive in one to three days. And for this I paid $45. I also tried calling them, and it was during the hours they are supposed to be available, but the message said it was after hours. I should have bought the part for $50 more from the vendor (Appliance Parts Pros)."

"Not worth the frustration, risk of CC fraud, and delay in burning up precious minutes of life for no resolution. Completely inept as a company. Appalling.

Holy Mother of God the devil must run this company.

"There are not enough words to describe the ineptitude of the people that work for this company that I had to deal with. Apparently they were not quite ready for me as I made sure that my money was refunded to me immediately. How many phone calls does it take to place and order, follow-up on an order and then after the second time around get them to understand that it is not acceptable to answer a question with "I don't know". They need to fire the lot of them and start from scratch. I bought my part on ebay for $10 less and free shipping. What in the world has happened to Sears and all their affiliates? Shameful."

SCAM!! Terrible do not use this company!!!!!

"I ordered a thermal dryer cut off fuse kit to fix my dryer that had no heat. The part did not work & they refused to give me a refund. Most reputable companies would offer a return for a non working part. Please do not waste your time or money!! So upset even after talking with a supervisor. I hope they enjoy my money just as much as I am enjoying my non working part. I will be filling a claim with the better business bureau! SCAM!!! BEWARE!!"
