"UPDATED 12/30/2013: It took about 3 1/2 weeks from the order date until I received the shipment. I have completed my inventory of all of the packages and found several errors.

Inventory indicated a number of 1 1/2 inch nails but there were none. However, there was a significant overabundance of 2 inch nails, so I assume you have discontinued or run out of the 1 1/2 inch nails. I was also short on 3 inch screws (about 25).

The biggest issue was the floor. I only received half of the floor ordered (Need two 12x12 foot kits). I contacted ShedsForLessDirect the seller & shippers to locate the missing package. It was never sent. I had to wait for another shipment from the manufacturer (another week and a half delay). Also, several 2x4's were warped beyond use (about 10 in total).

I contacted the seller to resolve these problems. It took a couple of days to get the floor resolved (re-ordered). With regards to the inventory issues (missing screws, nails, etc.) I was directed to buy whatever was missing or unusable locally and send them an invoice for reimbursement.

I lost my receipts during construction (one of my son-in-laws dogs destroyed my project box along with the receipts and instructions) so I no longer have the documentation to get reimbursed. When I contacted Sheds For Less and explained my problem they promptly wrote a check and sent it to me.

All things considered, I feel this was a good purchase and their customer service is fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone!

BEWARE: The directions that come with the kit are different from the PDF directions available from the website. They have different inventories and assembly instructions. The directions that came with the kit also had multiple errors regarding part # versus the actual markings on the pieces. Read well before starting and fix errors as you go. It will save you time in the long run."

"The shed was great, but I knew this going into the deal. I researched it up and down, saw it in person at Home Depot, etc... The variable here is Sheds for Less Direct. The reason I chose them was because they were cheaper, had no sales tax and free shipping. It was an all around great deal financially. The only criticism I have is that the order showed "Processing" for almost a week after submitting it. That scared me a little, especially when I just dumped $1,700 on a website I never used before. I received an e-mail telling me that the order was received and that it was processing but the status of my order stayed that way for almost a week. I was nervous after day 3 so I called. The guy on the other end assured me it was ok but it also sounded like he was working out of his garage. A little unsettling. After 6 days, I received an e-mail indicating it was being shipped which made me feel better. It arrived shortly after on a palate and they put it in my driveway. Overall, the shipping was great.

All in all, this was a good experience; ordered, shipped and received in about 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend this reseller. In fact I have recommended them to 2 friends who helped put it together this weekend. They are also looking for sheds.

However, there are some puzzles: the bldg instructions say to make the floor first, but the floor instructions say to make the bldg first. Huh?
