"I needed and ordered a cdg for an upcoming event, but once I placed the order I noticed that the last day of the possible shipping window was two days after I would leave for my event. I called them and they said they didn't have it in stock and would need to order it from Australia. I was able to find another source that would work better for my time schedule and the customer rep at Sheet Music Plus didn't hesitate to give me an immediate refund. Seconds later, I received the confirmation email that the order was canceled. Ryan and Albert were very helpful and friendly. I've used Sheet Music many times and plan to continue."
"Terrible dealing with this company who does not ship when they claim to. The website is not up-to-date, and keeps saying my bank has been charged for two orders, and still nothing shipped. I wanted some books this month, but I may not have them by Christmas from this company! They are very slow in responding to emails and phone calls, do not ship the order when they claim to, do not refund a cancelled order when they said they did, and I am not planning to order from them again. I like their prices, but they are too slow and do not provide customer service."
"This is the worst online shopping experience ever in my life. I just made a purchase today and received email order confirmation. After a few hours, I logged back into my account and tried to print my music digitally, but site says that I've already printed and not allowing me to print at all. No, I haven't printed ANYTHING yet! Does this "immediately" mean I have to print "immediately" right after I place an order? This is so horrible! I would like to have my money back. I'm already looking for another sheet music online company."
"This from Sheet Music Plus was without doubt THE most wretched experience I have ever had in trying to buy sheet music through their "Digital" music offering. It took me two hours just to be able to find it and print it out. I had put in a new toner cartridge just for this. When the 3-page music was finally printed, it had staff lines you mostly couldn't see, and the music was reduced to a size that you couldn't use. In addition, regardless of what I did, the third page was never able to be printed out. I wrote them three separate e-mails and asked for my money to be returned. To date, I have not heard from these pirates! Thank God I only ordered one $3.99 piece of "digital" sheet music to try out how it worked. NEVER again will I use "digital music" from Sheet Music Plus! I am angry and dsgusted over this whole experience! I do NOT recommend using Sheet Music Plus for anything!"
"I have been ordering music books for my son for the past several years from sheetmusicplus. The biggest problem with them has been that their shipping response is usually very slow. Also, if you have an issue come up, their customer support is not very understanding. I just placed an order over $50 using a $2.00 off coupon, but I forgot to check my shopping email
account for promotions. The next morning, I happened to see a better promotion where I could've had $5.00 off and a $10.00 gift certificate on my order of over $25. This promotion had not expired so I called the store to see if they might change it in their system, and they refused as I had already placed the order. Well, I was very disappointed as I have had other Internet vendors do this for me in the past. Even if they would've had difficulty changing the coupon code in the computer, seems they could've offered the gift card... Just FYI for you guys out there..."
"1) Ordered 6 scores for UK, I made an error. Emailed 3 times to amend order 12 hours after I'd realized my error and no response until 3 days. This response was just an automated reply, not even addressed to anyone and not even an apology as to why no one had got back until it was too late.
2) Order amounted to £159.88, yet £176.37 and a further £62.28 was taken from my account. I sent ANOTHER email asking why and surprise surprise, no response!
3) I want to send the scores I'd miss-ordered back but I don't trust this company to acknowledge any potential return of the goods and certainly don't trust them to reimburse me.
4) I am so exasperated with this firm and have already passed my experiences on to many work colleagues who also work in the music profession and they will NOT BE USING THIS FIRM AGAIN!

Hours of work attempting to download with two computers attempting to print out music. We have had no trouble with another music download company. "I've bought hundreds of dollars of sheet music from them this year. I am impreesed by the price and variaty of their products. They tend to take a bit longer to deliver than they promised (I'm staying in Africa). I've had some issues in the beginning when it came to the digital prints, but all issues were resolved within two days after I notified them via e-mail. Been working fine eversince.
It is cheaper for me to order from them than to buy from my local music store :-) Sheetmusicplus is an awsome website!

"I bought some digital music to print off from my computer. I downloaded all the software it needed but wasn't able to print. My son couldn't print on his computer either. I have no problem with sites that use Scorch. I'm waiting to see if they send a refund."
"I have been ordering from and referring my piano students to Sheet Music Plus for almost as many years as they have been in business.
SMP has made music more fun for many of my piano students (and myself) throughout the years, and I really do appreciate it.
Most titles are always in stock, and I have rarely, if ever, stumbled on a piece or song that I was not able to find at their store.
My students have often commented on how quickly their orders show up on their doorstep -- and I have never had a student complain about an order.
What makes my students happy, makes me even more happy, - so I really appreciate the great service that they have delivered consistently throughout the years!"
"Very disappointed. Seemed like they had the sheet music I was looking for. After I paid for it online the digital print was not available due to a "communication problem with the print server." I tried again numerous times over a period of a month. Finally, I called, was told to update Adobe and Adobe Air, all to no avail. I called again and a person at the other end said they could either fax or refund my money. She said it was an intermittent problem that they haven't been able to solve. However, I have been trying for literally a month, so I'd say it's a little more than intermittent! I warn against using this service. They shouldn't allow the orders until they fix this problem. Why place the onus on the customer?!"
"Beware of this supplier... I bought a few items in Sep 2012 and after 7 months (at the time of this writing), they still have not arrived. They said they will send items again but they never came. I have bought from them previously before and the items usually come after 12 weeks (not what they promised on their website). This is mainly because they do not use their national post office to send out their orders. Instead they use cheap local couriers that are unreliable. But this time, my latest order did not arrive after 7 months. They said they will refund payment but this too was never done. And they actually said they had processed the refund 4 times after I reminded them 5 times, which is ridiculous. The service staff (Kevin, Jeremy, etc) will always give the standard, impersonal reply that the refund is already processed and to wait for another 3-5 days and to contact them again. Guess what, after 1 month of waiting for the refund and more than 10 emails, the refund is still not done. And they actually claimed that they had done the refund processing 4 times. Are you kidding me, a paypal transaction only takes 1 min to execute (like how we pay them) ... Although they do carry a good stock of books, it is really a toss-up if you choose to buy from them. If the order comes, you are fine and good. But if anything happens, you will be in trouble as the after-service is appalling. They basically do not care about you and there is nothing you can do. They will not send the order again (I suspect whether they did even send it out in the first place), neither will they refund you the money. And worst of all, they will not respond to your emails, except for the usual standard impersonal replies.

"I am an adult learning Piano. I ordered the Faber books and also with it Fun Time Classic and Big Time Classic songs in what I thought were CDs. When I got the product, they were in floppy disks. We have three computers at home, but none has the old floppy disk format. I had ordered before and what I got were CDs previously; so, I thought I will get CDs this time. I was able to call Sheet Music plus and to their credit, they said I can return them for full credit, but the experience cost me waste of time. their web site says the product is a “software” and a “disk”. But, I think they need to say clearly it is a floppy disk format, considering that most new computer these days do not have floppy disk. I think calling it a software and a disk is a bit confusing."
"the good-huge selection-had all three intro piano books that I needed; I could only find one of these at another large (instrument) retailer and only one at a highly regarded music school's store. I decided to order online instead of taking the time to travel all over town. I wish now I had done the travelling and only ordered one from Sheet Music Plus.
the bad-very high shipping prices (over 1/3 of the total cost of the books themselves) and very slow delivery (estimated to be eight days from delivery-I am in the middle of that eight day period right now). In comparison, the electronic piano that I ordered from another store (to be used with the music from SMP) was delivered for FREE and only 3 days after ordering.
As to customer service-I emailed a complaint to SMP but have not heard back.
Next time, I will try to find an alternative to SMP, but would use it again if it was the only place I could find what I was looking for."
"Very disappointed with this company.You should not order from Sheet Music Plus.I am a high school choir director and this is the second major problem I have had withSheet Music Plus.Customer service is very bad. Email response is slow. Customer Service agents are not reliable. A piece of Music that I ordered and paid for on Oct. 16th just got shipped today (oct. 30) and not because it wasn't in stock. -I never received an email from the company letting me know there was a delay on my order-I expected the order Oct. 20th.It is very unfortunate that they care so little about their customers. I find this to be entirely unacceptable business practices. This makes it impossible to do this piece for my upcoming Christmas Concert.
I spoke with Kevin Last week Thursday who reassured me it would get out Friday morning and be shipped out faster than regular delivery because of your mistakes! Please buy your music from a real music dealer."
