"Shop4Tech It was the first time I ordered from them. They did all they said they would. They delivered a quality product,at a great price, and did so expediently. I wish I would have found them sooner, and would surely order from them again."
"I purchased the item "Motion Detectors - Set of 2" and was dismayed to discover that they are practically worthless products. The motion alarm is only occasionally set off if motion is detected in bright light. In low light it's a cheap plastic paperweight. It's too cheap to return so I just considered it a loss. I decided to go to their site to write a review about it to warn others that this product isn't worth the time. I did so a month ago and it was never posted. The only review for this total junk product is a review saying that they do work. I was pretty annoyed that the time I spent in writing my detailed and accurate review was thrown out because it was a 1 star review, so now I'll leave this 1 star review for the site, which I consider unethical. Hey shop4tech, don't delete unfavorable reviews of your ripoff products."
"Customer Service is absolutely rude and useless.
I bought a T-Mobile $100 refill card that didn't work.
1. E-mailed customer support. Sent 2 e-mails, never heard back. Going to stage 2: phone call
2. I called on Friday, and was told that the person who handles prepaid cards is not there, and she will be back on Monday. The lady I was speaking to didn't seem to know what customer service incoming e-mail is and how to use it, so I had to relay all my info to her again, including order number, phone card number, and even the phone card PIN! (not sure why she needed it). She promised that she will send all this over to the refill card lady, and I can call back on Monday to see where we are at.
3. Calling back on Monday. a very rude young man answered the call and when I told him what my problem was he went (in a very impolite way) "What do you mean it doesn't work?" (the refill card) "Did you call T-Mobile?". Great; first thing they do is they send me off to someone else. I actually did call T-Mobile so I told him that, and I explained that T-Mobile sent me to them. He goes "We sell thousands of these cards, and all of them work, how come yours doesn't work!". Long story short, I got tired speaking to this guy and asked to speak to someone else. I am a very patient person, and this is first time in 10 years dealing with customer service reps when I got very angry. Actually it's first time in the last couple of years that I felt angry with anyone at all.
4. The other lady I was transferred to was not rude, but it turns out no one knew I called on Friday, and no one got my information that I left with the other lady that I was promised to be looked into.
Finally I was transferred to returns department, and they said that return shipping won't be refunded because they don't do it. I said it's their mistake so why am I supposed to pay. He went "OK, it's only a $1 to ship a phone card back so I will give you a $1". I will have to call them back and beg, and e-mail scanned copy of USPS receipt. (do they train their reps to be rude?). Turns out it actually costs around $5 or $6 when you add insurance and delivery confirmation (it's a $100 card). so I figured I would rather write off the $6 expense and will never shop at this awful place again.
The story ended unexpectedly in my favor. Before sending the card back I decided to try once again, so by trial and error I figured out this card is non-standard (it's called FastCard) so you can't activate it on T-Mobile web site, and can't activate with T-Mobile rep. You are supposed to call a completely different phone # to activate it. Doh! and no one at Shop4Tech told me that when I called them twice! Do they even know what they are selling?
I am a very busy person, and I spent at least an hour of my valuable time on these awful sellers.
Long story short: don't waste your time and patience with these awful, rude and unhelpful people."
"The site is great with lots options to shop, shipping is quick and the product quality is super. Thanks shop4tech for great online shopping experience."
"My worst experience with a printer toner seller ever.
- Shipping was quite slow.
- Then toner cartridge turned out to be defective (after one month/10% use). I called, but I have to return the product first, which would leave me without a working printer for at least two weeks--unacceptable for a small business. Shop4tech was not willing to problem solve with me.
- Moreover, even though the product was defective, I have to pay for the shipping to return the item. Ridiculous!"
"buydig.com shipped my SanDsik Ultra 8 GB memory card immediately and it arrived quickly even though shipping was free. Buydig had the best delivered price, a responsive web site, and the item in stock. What's not to like?"
"Received the ordered item in good order and in a very prompt fashion.
Thank you...would buy again from this site!"
"Shop4Tech.com continues to deliver inexpensive products at great pricing and free shipping. Everything that I have bought from them has lived up to expectations and shipped quickly. No problems!"
"Purchased a novelty breathalyzer. Item received, didn't work at all. Returned it and received a full refund. Went to their website and wrote a negative review of the item (http://www.shop4tech.com/item8633.html). That was over a week ago. They do not appear to post negative reviews on their items, and a lot of the stuff the sell seems to be junk."
"NEVER AGAIN!!
Placed an order online, paid immediately, item showed as In Stock.
Days passed, the status of my order never changed, and never shipped.
I had to call THEM to be told "oh, yeah, we ran out of stock, we have NO idea when we'll be getting more in".
Apparently they felt perfectly comfortable keeping my money indefinitely for an item they didn't have.
When I complained that I should have been notified, they then sent me some random automated email of order cancellation that stated reasons completely unrelated to the fact that they ran out of stock and did not reserve an item for me.
Shop4Tech:
1) Entirely wasted my time during holiday shopping when I could have been shopping somewhere more responsible.
2) Accept my order and money and did not reserve the merchandise for me.
3) Did not bother to contact me to say they ran out of stock.
4) When I had to call THEM they had NO idea if/when they would be getting more of the item.
4) They now have all of my personal information they can can potentially sell.
My advice: AVOID"
"I purcahsed some software online on above date. I have still not received the item. I have tried to contact this company on numerous occasions. They never answer the phone, there is no facility to leave a message as no answerphone, all my emails have been totally ignored. The money was taken from my bank instantly. I managed to get the online advisor once who assured me the item was being dispatched that day! That was 3 weeks ago and they are never online now. I don't think the UK place is actually real. What a scam!"
"This company will scam you, if you order software they send you a flyer you sign for it at the door not knowing the content. When you chase it up they refuse to answer the phone and on live chat tell you you have signed for the goods ! "
"There is no communication with clients! i placed the order on Oct21st, paid for express delivery! and today is Oct 28th and i still didnt hear from them about my item! my Google account was charged instantly. Will NOT order anything again here. "
"Experience was positive. Shipping was pretty fast with free USPS. Order was placed on Tues and recieved the following Mon. Packing was good and sturdy. Screwdriver set itself was made better than expected. Overall would recommend this store."
"I love the "Free Shipping" option, especially if you don't need your order in any particular hurry. My order was packed very well, better than expected...thanks! "
