"Placed an order for a battery online, checked the website on the Sunday following and it had a tracking # posted - GREAT I thought. I was able to rest assured that some of the negative comments here wouldn't pertain to me.
I track the package, and it simply states that the package information was transmitted to Fed Ex - which essentially means the label was made. So I waited until Monday to track the package again, still no information.
I called Shopperwiz, and to my surprise someone answered. I explained to him the situation, and without getting any further information about my order (didn't even ask my name or the order #!) he put me on hold. Waited for about 15 minutes, called back again - immediately put me on hold again.
I still haven't heard a single thing about the status of my order, am very very disappointed and will NEVER shop here again and completely advise people from doing the opposite. If only from the fact that their customer service is extremely sub par."

"Tried to order an Adaptec Video Capture USB device. Put in my credit card info, and on the next page they said they don't accept MBNA cards! I've ordered stuff online for years, from dozens of vendors, and none have made me jump through as many hoops as these guys just to place an order. They say it's all in the name of security, but the fact that they don't operate like other merchants makes me more suspicious of them, not less suspicious. This place just sets off alarm bells in my head.

"Don’t shop here unless you feel like giving shopperwiz a zero interest loan. On September 17th, 2004 I tried to buy some compact flash which showed 387 in stock. I purchased it within seconds and the next day I received this email, “'Unfortunately, by the time the order went through the fraud control and credit card verification process, the product ran out of stock.” So I email them to ask if my card will be charged while I’m waiting for the card to come back in stock. Their reply, “no it will not be charged, only when we process you'r order…” Now, the key word in this sentence is “process” which really means they’ll charge you when they feel like it. It doesn’t specify “shipped” or anything else. As far as I know, they could “process” it for a year. I kept waiting for my compact flash to arrive and on Sept 22nd, 2004 I see that my Visa is charged the full amount. I check my order status and it claims, “order is being processed” whatever that means. On Sept 27th, 2004 I still haven’t received my compact flash, so I email and ask what has happened to my order. No response. My order status on their website still says, “order is being processed.” You get the idea. On Sept 29 I call to enquire about my order. After being on hold for more than 40 minutes (they don’t offer any toll free “customer service” numbers) I finally get a human. A woman asks for my order number and puts me on hold for another 15 minutes. She comes back on the line, “oh, do you have a pen handy? I’ll give you your tracking number.” I don’t want to write down one of those huge numbers and ask that she email it to me. She verifies my email address and says it’s on the way. Never happens. On Sept 30th I email again asking for my alleged tracking # and get this response, “Since new availability prices and conditions are unknown at this point, your order was automatically cancelled by the system.” What the ???? I try and email other shopperwiz email customer service (I use the term loosely) and demand that my Visa be credited. They claim, “it was credited 10 minutes ago.” As of Oct 3rd it’s finally been credited, but I guarantee they never would’ve credited it unless I complained. Moreover, for entertainment, I also checked the current price of the compact flash I ordered. It almost doubled! I guess, they just drop the price to get people to bite and then take their interest free loan. When you call them on it, they nonchalantly brush it off as an honest mistake. Which is really a long string of so-called, “honest mistakes.” “Honest” I seriously doubt they know the meaning of the word. I can’t wait to see their lying response to this post. Should be entertaining.

"This company committed false advertising. They advertised a product as a ten-pack, sent me one, and refused to make good on their agreement. To make matters worse it took me nearly three weeks to get ahold of them. I left messages, sent faxes and emails. Finally I called during off hours and happened to reach someone. I will never do business with them again."
