"I ordered a Windows 7 DVD back on 12/06/2014, to use as a Christmas present for my parents, whom I don't think would be able to use the download method, but would rather use a physical disk. On 12/09/2014, I received a tracking number for USPS. Their site showed they received pre-shipping info, and that was it. I would check USPS site daily, with no change in status. On 12/15/2014, I grew tired of waiting, and messaged Sidemicro using their site, inquiring as to where was my package. I never heard back from them, until I checked USPS site again on 12/17/2014, and found that USPS had finally received the package the day before, and shipped it out on 12/17/2014, from CA. I will obviously not get the package in time to re-send in time for Christmas (unless I spend a ton of money on express shipping), thanks to their poor communication skills, and/or lackadaisical way of doing business. I emailed them about their poor customer service and communication skills, and their response was merely "It has been mailed". The name of the company is very fitting - this is merely a side job for them, and not a full-time venture requiring their full attention.

Update: I received an email stating that my order status was now listed as "refunded". There was no further explanation. I checked with my Paypal account, and found that it had been refunded. USPS tracking web page still showed a package in transit. Today, 12-20-2014, I received a package from them containing 2 Windows 7 - 32bit discs which have a Dell label on them, not the Windows label. Nice, considering I had ordered the 64 bit Windows 7 disc. Are these guys on drugs?"

"Terrible shopping experience. I bought a windows 7 product key and sidemicro said I'd get it in 2-3 hours. I still didn't have what I paid for after 5 business days and they did not respond to emails. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because I never got what I paid for.

After a few weeks, they sent me an email telling me that they would pay me if I gave them a 5 star review. The exact text from their email: "Please Give us A 5 star Good Review ,And We Will Give You $25.00 Visa Gift Card Or Store Credit Immediately."

Please do not shop with sidemicro. The 1 star reviews look real and are buried by many suspicious 5 star reviews."
