"I ordered 2 Gator speaker cases for my new Alto speakers. I called Sonic 1st to see if they could advise me if they fit. The sales person stated that he could only read me the same info and sizes that were on the site. He stated, when asked, that I could return them if they did not fit. The measurements where large enough but the design did not allow the bag to close all the way so I called again and requested a refund. When I asked for a return label, I was told that I would have to pay for the return shipping. It would have been great to know this up front. I'm sure it's in the fine print, but the sales person should have mentioned it. 3 calls latter and numerous minutes on hold, I was finally able to purchase a $21.00 shipping label from sonic. This was suppose to be an easy process but there where errors on their side when setting me up with an account for the return. In short, I really like the great prices! Sales dept. needs to be a little more helpful. The return policy needs to be verbalized when customers call in and possibly waived when possible. The folks are all nice, but the errors and hold times when calling in made for a " not so great" first impression.
The funny thing is, I did have other items that I wanted to buy ( wireless mikes) but I don't want the problems again. I get the need to not cover the return shipping. However, I ask you to consider the fact that 21.00 shipping cost may have lost you a customer. "
