"The original order was #743142. It was shipped via OnTrac. Evidently, the package was damaged during shipping and returned to Sonic. Sonic then shipped another product and was to be delivered the following day (shipped on March 8, to be delivered on March 9). On the evening of March 10, I called OnTrac. OnTrac claimed that they could not get into our gated community. Even though delivery drivers never have a problem getting into our community, I still provided a gate code. I did not receive the package on the 11th so I called Sonic. The Sonic rep. called OnTrac and was told that OnTrac could not get into our community. I told the Sonic rep that I had given the gate code the day before. The Sonic rep told me that he would call me back the following day to check to see if I got the package.
I called OnTrac the following day and was told that my package was lost. Because I did not get a follow up call, I called Sonic again. I informed the rep what OnTrac had just told me. The Sonic rep told me that after investigating this case, they could send another unit out the following week via UPS. At that point, I asked for a refund so I could purchase this product from an alternative source. The rep. told me that they would give me a refund.
Today, I phoned Sonic before I filled out this form to give the opportunity to correct the issue prior to leaving a review. Unfortunately, I heard of red tape and typical "big company" apologies, but no help. I was told that my case would be reviewed by a committee. I was told that I probably would not be charged a restocking fee and I should wait several more days to find out about my refund.
I am extremely dissatisfied. I expect that my refund is processed within one working day of my request - especially under the circumstances. I also expect that I will be refunded the entire amount of my purchase.
I like the idea of Sonic Electronix. The company carries products I am interested in and is close to where I live. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience."
