"Spoke to customer service rep when I ordered lacrosse net and he stated he would make sure enough string would be shipped to secure the net. When I received the order all that came was enough to secure the net to the front of the goal, not the bottom. I chatted with Ed this morning and was advised that if I didn't want to buy additional tie downs that I probably laced the net incorrectly and should go to Target or my local hardware store to buy some additional string. I did secure the net correctly and don't appreciate being referred to as a dummy.

Buyer beware --- make sure there is enough string to secure your net!!!

I apologize for the inconvenience, again we are more than willing to send out tie downs for you, but we do not have extra tie down string as it is not something sold separately by the manufacturers. There should be enough string in the net if it is tied properly. If there is not, your best option would be to contact the manufacturer, however Brine can take some time to respond to requests, which is why I suggested a local hardware store or Walmart/Target as that is the quickest way in which you will be able to use the net. If you would like the tie downs we are again more than willing to send some out for you.

"I have no idea why this company has only 1 star on this and one other review site, when other sites showed very different reviews.
This is a cut & paste of the 5 star review that I left at the 'other' review site. I have absolutely no affiliation with this SportStop - I just thought that the public should be aware that the reviews here completely contradict my experience.
After seeing the poor ratings here, I have to say that it made me nervous about the company, so I called them. I got an answer immediately and the CS rep appeared to be in this country and an actual employee of SportStop. Good sign.
We discussed their poor ratings here and on one other online rating site - mostly relating to items being delivered late, or being out of stock. The CS rep wasn't aware of the poor reviews on the web and also didn't understand why there was such a difference between their rating here and many other review sites.
I decided to give SportStop a chance and ordered a lacrosse rebounder.
I received an email that my order had been received, then another indicating that it had been processed, followed by a UPS email that it had been delivered It arrived before the stated ship date and the packaging was in good shape.
The transaction was flawless, so 5 stars from me.

I ordered Box LAX rib pads for my son. They didn't arrive after two weeks. My son was playing games and getting badly hurt. I emailed customer service (I could not get through on the phone) and explained that we could not buy these pads locally and could they quick ship a replacement so he would not get hurt in another game. Nothing happened. I had to call them and they did not stand behind the order and said I would have to wait for an investigation w/ UPS that could take a LONG time. If they had contacted me sooner I could have ordered from another website regular shipping, but because of their non-response I had to pay an extra $32 to overnight from another site. "
