Anyone can put together a web site that just offers the manufacturer’s basic product information, but they go the extra mile with product guides, tutorials, and in-house produced video clips that showcase the products and go beyond the standard manufacturer’s narrative that everyone else has.

Their customer service is unparallel…on two separate occasions a rep went out into their warehouse to actually weight a product because they could not find the information on the manufacturer’s web site. I am the parent of two goalies and while weight of gear may not be particularly important to field players, it is to a goalie when trying to cut weight in the crease for quicker stick speed. On both occasions the information helped in making the decision as to what new goalie shafts to purchase.

No one markets close-out & clearance gear more aggressively than they do. Their already good deals on clearance items becomes even better when offered in their “deal of the day” e-mails, where the only way you’re going to find the product cheaper is if you find a used and broken one listed on e-bay.

Let’s be honest, this economy has forced a lot of us to become “bottom-feeders”…I can’t afford to spend anymore on lacrosse gear than I have too. As a result customer loyalty is hard to come by, especially in the far less personal on-line market place. I don’t shop at SportStop.com because they give me a warm and fussy feeling, I shop there because I keep finding them to be the source where I can get the best value for my dollar.
