"Made an online purchase of a digital camera. Called ahead to verify its in stock. Paid extra for 3 days delivery. Called to confirm order and was offered accessories at outrageous high price, when told them that, they just hungup. Called again and same story repeated.
When product did not arrive after one week, I called to find out the status. Very rude person answered and told me the order was cancelled because it was out of stock. I asked why they did not notify me and they told me they did by mail which is not true.

It’s a "Bait and switch" operation stay away from them!!!

"I ordered a digital camera from wawadigital.net, which went fine. When I first called to confirm my order, they told me that the camera was in stock. Then they asked if I wanted to by an extra battery for about $100 for this camera. I said "No, not at this time." The salesperson was very friendly. Today, 3 weeks later, I still didn't receive my order or any notice about it, so I called. They were very very very rude; told me that my order was cancelled because the camera was not in stock and they hung up the phone before I could even say anything. So I called their "customer service". That person said (O-ton!): "So?! It was cancelled. Get over it! F...!" That was when I hung up! My husband called them back to find out what the heck as going on and they said that this is the way they do their business.
Well, I guess this way they won't be doing business for very long.

"Appeared to run a bait and switch scheme. Offered a Sony DVD403 at a low price then required telephone confirmation of the internet order, apparently to try to sell very overpriced accessories to go along with a "gray" or "international" version of the camcorder which one has no way of knowing when one places the order. Shortly after hanging up with the sales rep who had unsuccessfully tried to sell very overpriced accessories I received an email that stated the camcorder was on backorder and more or less encouraged me to cancel my order, despite the fact that I had been given an order confirmation number, after fighting through a strenous sales pitch for accessories and giving the security number for my credit card. I wanted the camera, not a fight, so I did cancel my order and moved on. Bad business and a waste of time, all in all."

"Do not have any dealings with this company. Very rude customer service when I tried to cancel the order. Hung up on me on two occasions. Appears to be a shady set-up. Tried to orde the SOny Cybershot DSC-T33 because they were listed as the cheapest on yahoo shopping. Yelled at me on the phone when I tried to cancel the order because I did not have a confirmation number. Could not get a confirmation number because they were not open on Sunday as they stated on their recorded message. When I tried to speak with the supervisor, "Jack" said there was not a manager and hung up. Do not buy from this merchant."

"I tried to purchase a Nikon D70. Their web page was out and out false advertising. They say they are selling a D70 kit. What they actually do is open Nikon's package and take everything out and then try to sell you the accessories for about twice the retail price.

Don't even try to do business with this company. They operate under three or four different names for obvious reasons.

"BEWARE!!!! An ONLINE “BAIT & SWITCH” SCAM COMPANY! There many like these online. This is a typical Online Scam to get you to overbuy with an item that they cannot sell at the price they offer it at. BEWARE!!!!!!... This is the absolute truth & if you buy from them at their low prices you will surely find out they will not sell to you UNLESS you buy much MORE that that item!!!!!!!!.... Believe me Anyone who is giving this company a good review either Works For The Company (giving false good reports) OR are very naive buyers…. I tried to buy my wife a birthday present (Nikon 4600 camera) from WAWA. They said the cameras were in stock ONLINE & the Nikon was a very good price (about $250. including shipping). I paid immediately with a credit card. TWO (2) weeks later when I did not receive the camera I called & they asked me if I wanted to purchase any accessories with it, I said no & they said the Nikon was not in stock & it will be in 2 more weeks!!! I called back in 2 weeks & they asked me AGAIN if I want or did I buy any accessories & I said (again) no accessories. They then told me that my order was canceled giving me no reason, then hung-up the phone??? …They did not steal from me, BUT wasted a lot of my time, as will You will waste a lot of time with this company UNLESS you buy what they what you to buy!!!!!!!!!!!! "This store is HORRIBLE. I spent an hour deciding on what I wanted to buy. Bought it and called to verify the order. The same guy answers ALL the phone lines. He is rude - and hung up on me.
The item I ordered - he said was "discontinued" - when I asked him why it was still on the internet - he hung up on me. When I called back to question him about why ...he said "It doesn't matter"....
DO not...I repeat DO NOT EVER BUY anything from these people.

"When you order, they ask you to purchase additional items. When you do not, they tell you the item you originally ordered is not out of stock. "After placing my order I received a message to call and confirm, but the company was closed when I called. I needed the item right away so in the mean time I found it somewhere else and cheaper. On Sunday, two days later, James called me to confirm the order, but I was unavailable. When I called him back to cancel, I was told that even though I had not confirmed my order yet and it was not shipped, I had to pay 25% of the order for cancellation fees. When I told the gentleman,James, that I did not think that was good customer service, he became very rude, told me that it was company policy, that it's my problem not his and told me that they would charge my credit card anyway, and then hung up on me. This is not fair business practice and I will dispute."

"i placed an order for a sony ds100 digital camera from them (only the camera, no accessories) proir to placeing the order, i called to confirm stock and confirm the item was not refurb. and they did confirm both. i then immediately placed the order and was then promped that i must call and confirm the order and my identity. instead of an identity check, they attempted to sell me accessories, to which i declined (their accessories are aproximately 3x the price you can buy them for elsewhere) the represetitive then said well ship it right out and immediately hung up the phone. upon calling the next day to confirm my order, i was told they were out of stock and the earliest i would get my camera is 6 weeks. i then asked about the previous stock and they claimed it hadn't been in stock for over a week. i canceled my order... very shady buisness, if you dont believe me, call their customer service before placing your order."

"Checked for lowest prices on net. WaWa digital was lowest. Called and placed the order for a canon a95. Sales rep wanted to sell a 256 flash memory card for 149 $. I told him it was a gift and the person could buy what they wanted. He cut the price in half on the card trying to sell it. I just wanted the camera. He then took the order.
9 days later I called to check on the order. The person was very rude and told me it was out of stock and hung up. I called back and asked that my order be cancelled and was told ok. I will call back to make sure it was cancelled and this WaWa company did not rip me off. I think the camera was in stock and the low ball price was to sell the cards and charge 25$ for shipping.
I would not recommend this company at all.

"This is the WORST internet company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They advertised a low price on a Casio Z40 camera I was interested in. Then, when I called to confirm the order, they attempted to sell me a battery for which I had no use. When I wouldn't purchase any "extra accessories" for my camera, the salesman told me that the camera was unavailable for the next 3 weeks. I told him I wanted to cancel my order, he said, "Fine" and hung up on me. When I called back to find out if my order had been cancelled since the rude salesman hung up on me, I got the same person on the phone. He told me that the camera was not available and that the order had been cancelled. I told him I wished to speak to his supervisor. This is when he told me he was one of the owners!!! So if the owners are treating their customers without any regard for professional courtesy, you can imagine that the attitude permeates throughout the company. I strongly recommend that you have absolutely NO DEALINGS with this awful company."
