"The ordering process was easy and they even called to let me know an item that I ordered wouldn't work with another item that I ordered and got me the correct item. "
"I was looking for both pieces of seals for the "f" connection, but could not locate both pieces from the same vendor. It was nice however, that you were able to supply me with the second part of the seal(s) for a very reasonable price. I was trying to locate the second seal part called "f" connector "weather boot".
Thank you,
Jason

"Summit Source has a very high cost for returns (15%), requires a RMA # and the buyer must pay the return shipping. These policys make any antenna purchase where you receive CRAP or a broken item your problem. As the return cost and procedure out weighs the purchase price. Also be aware this Internet Retailer knowingly sells CRAP. And, by reading the other reviews on this website, knowingly ships broken product."
"In my opinion, Summit Source (www.summitsource.com) is a fraud and a scam.
Issue #1: I ordered a product off their website that was indicated as IN STOCK. Waited 4 days, never got an order confirmation. Took them a day to get back to me that the item was BACKORDERED.
Issue #2: Did not want to wait the 2+ weeks, so I attempted to cancel the order. I received an email that said I would be charged a 15% cancellation fee ON AN ITEM THEY COULD NOT EVEN DELIVER!
Issue#3: When I said that is BS and told them I would be disputing with my credit card company, they threatened that I would be charged a $50 chargeback fee. Incredible!!! Do these people work for Bush and Cheney???
DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE... IT IS NOT WORTH IT!"
" Purchased a Winegard antenna. The box was not damaged but when I opened it the antenna was. The box had been opened by Summit to add antenna cable. They maintain that UPS caused the damage. My response to them was that there were two sets of staple holes, one from the manufacture and one from Summit. Therefore UPS did not reseal or cause the damage. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and Summit claims they can do no wrong. I know what happened; they shipped a damaged antenna thinking they could pawn it off. It seems they have record of doing that. "
"I ordered a Channel Master digital TV converter using one of my government-issued $40 coupons. The process was easier than using my other coupon at a local Radio Shack! While the checkout wasn't completely seamless for the coupons, they had simple instructions on how to type your card number in the comment field.
A few days later my converter box arrived safe and sound. Great transaction. I would definitely recommend Summit Source."
"Horrible/should be illegal Service. They sent me a damaged antennae, then waited 4 months to even reply to any of my 30 inquiries about replacing it. I finally had to do a credit card charge back after months of no response. They then charged me $25 for the charge back and reported me to a collections agency. Horrible Business."
"Ordered an rf remote tranmitter, lrrx, on a Friday, arrived monday. Excellent service, not the worst price."
"Ordered a roof antenna tripod mount online before 3:00 EST on the 15th, received a UPS tracking number that evening as the package shipped. Received package on the 17th. Package was as advertised. EXCELLENT service!"
"I bought a Gemini antenna from Summit Source part number gem360. It arrived on time, within 5 business days. It seems to be a sturdy antenna, and it receives GREAT signals! Excelent product, and timely service."
"Didn't get the product exactly of what I ordered.
It looks like it was a refurbished item. I order Magnavox chimney mounting kit instead they sent me Gemini brand. The package looks like it was a returned item from customer with staples all around the package. No invoice came with it either. Glad that I printed the email after I ordered.
Since it's only $9.00 I'm not even gonna bother to call or email them back but will definitely not doing business with them again in the future."
"I used the summitsource.com web site to place an order for a satellite dish for my RV. I chose this merchant because their site stated that they had been in business for over twenty years, they had a good price on the item and most importantly, because their policy stated that orders are usually processed and shipped "same day" if received before 2:00PM EST. I needed this within a week for a planned trip so this was the determing factor.
So far, so good. I immediately received email order confirmation. Four days later I decided to call and check on the status and was informed that they would investigate and email me the status. An hour later I was emailed that they had "just received" my order and that it would be shipped that day. Shortly thereafter I received another email informing me that the item was "temporarily out of stock" and that they would have to have it drop shipped on me by the manufacturer. It further stated that there would be "at least" an additional 8 days of time required by the manufacturer.
I immediately emailed them back that this was too late for my situation and that I would like to cancel the order and purchase the item locally and asked that they please release the authorization for $241.99 that they had placed on my credit card.
They following day I learned from another email that I would be charged a 15% restocking fee if I cancelled my order because it was a "Special Order Item". Nothing I had seen while ordering this item indicated that it was out of stock or that is was a special order item. I also learned that they had charged my credit card for the full amount AFTER I cancelled the order.
They want to charge a restocking fee for an item they never stocked? In my opinion this is nothing more than a snare for unsuspecting consumers. I would expect a cancellation rate at or approaching 100% by consumers expecting same day shipping (this is expressed in bold and enlarged type on the site) when placing orders and only after they are locked in being told that the order won't be filled for weeks. That's the scam. They can make 15% any time they aggrivate a customer enough to cancel an order. In my opinion they would rather do this than fill orders and they likely make a higher profit margin since the cost of goods sold is zero.
I have placed this matter in dispute with my bank and hopefully this internet bandit will not be rewarded for this scam.
