"Absolutely a scam.
We ordered the Throne of Glass series on 12/11/2023 through this seller on Amazon. Our expected delivery date was 12/20 to 12/27. They marked the item as shipped on 12/13 but we weren’t given a tracking number. We contacted their chat team twice and requested a tracking number, they wouldn’t provide one and kept sending a generic response that items are shipped 2 business days after the order is made.
We waited 8 business days without a tracking number and without any real communication from their customer service team before asking for our order to be cancelled and refunded. They refused to cancel our order, said our item has already been processed and shipped. On 12/20, the first day we should expect this order by, they sent a tracking number. The tracking number says nothing besides USPS is awaiting for this item
from the seller. Today’s now 12/27 12:00PM MST, the last day we should have received this order by and USPS still has not received this item from the seller.
My spouse bought through them on Amazon bc he was unaware 3rd party sellers could be potential scammers. We have to wait until 12/31 to report them
to Amazon and get our $140.00 back.
I also attempted to email them through their official website, received the same runaround response. AVOID THIS COMPANY."
"I doubt this sham of a company has any books in its inventory. I ordered a book through Amazon and this is where they sourced the material. 10 days later, Amazon contacted me: "We are writing to let you know that shipment of the following order has not been confirmed by the seller within the expected timeframe".
I contacted the seller directly and was told: "We are working hard to maintain great customer service and will do whatever we can to resolve your issues quickly."
Then: "Thank you for your inquiry. Our records show that your order is processing and will ship out shortly. Your order can take up to 5 business days, from the order date, to ship from one of our warehouses.
We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and greatly value your continued business. We asked if you would rate us favorably when asked to do so. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions."
So I did, requesting tracking info. Then NOTHING. I could have waited until hell froze over. They were obviously NOT going to ship me a book in my lifetime. I had to ask Amazon to cancel the order.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SELLER. EVER!"
"I ordered a book to take on vacation three weeks ahead of time. Their estimated delivery date was two days after I leave. Since the order was still processing I requested it be sent to the address where I would be staying (residence). Two days later they informed me that they already shipped the item and it is now arriving FOUR days later than the initial delivery date (to Illinois while I'll be in Florida). I'll be returning it as soon as I get back from vacation and not reading it.
I ordered from several other retailers on Christmas night both for myself and as gifts sent to each coast. They all arrived the following week. I promised that I will be their best free worst advertisement. "
"SuperBookDeals represented on Amazon that they had the book I wanted. I placed 6 separate orders for 7 copies of this book to be sent to friends and myself. It took them 15 days to tell me they were not able to fulfill the orders. Representing that they have inventory that they do not have is unethical. They should be banned from doing business by Amazon on their platform."
"I usually do not leave bad reviews about booksellers and any issues are always solved in a satisfactory manner for both parties. Well, not with superbookdeals so I suppose there is always a first time!
Submitted my order to Superbookdeals on 10/19. After contacting the customer support several times for several weeks, on 11/14 I received an email with the order cancellation. The cancelled book was relisted on the superbookdeals website and on other online marketplaces for a higher amount.
After contacting customer support and receiving automatic email responses that disregard my request for a refund, until 12/17 I am still waiting for a refund.
At this point I lost hope of getting my refund back so I wanted to warn other potential buyers for staying away from this fraudulent company.

"I purchased my books on September 10th 2022. I received notification that my order shipped on September 14th. I reached out to the company on 18 September for shipping information as directed by Amazon. I received a response on 19 September stating that their records show that my package is processing and would ship soon contradicting their initial notification. I attempted to reach out again on 22 September and was told because my order was not officially late I couldn’t make a statement concerning the company. Well the day of expected delivery 26 September came and went. There was a change in the status though. On the day the day of expected delivery the status changed to Package arrived at carrier facility Waukegan, IL. I’m in GA so it’s safe to say now that my package is officially late. I then received the canned statement that it looks like your package is late. If not received 30 September come back to request a refund. Package notification now shows that it is expected today, but there is no confirmation when the tracking information is reviewed. Hands down this is the worst shipping/customer service experience I have had to date. I have received deliveries in a more timely manner while deployed at sea in the Mediterranean. 100% would not recommend. "

"I ordered a textbook needed for school on January 7th. Now, I am a very patient person. I was willing to wait up to a week and a half for getting the book. SuperBookDeals only has an email on their site for contacting customer service. I emailed them on Jan 19th, asking where my purchase was. I received an automatic email on Jan 20th stating it was still "being processed" and would be shipped out shortly. On Jan 28th, I sent another email asking if my book had been shipped out. No response. On Feb 1st, I sent an email telling them my frustration about the shipping, and if I do not receive a response I would be asking for a refund. They send me the same automatic response saying it was still being processed and would be shipped out shortly. The next day, Feb 2nd, I tell them over email to cancel my order and refund my money. I also call Far Corner, Inc about this affair either the next day or the day after. On my second contact with the customer service individual, she tells me "it looks like it has been processed/shipped, but still hasn't been sent out yet." What does that even mean?!?! Ultimately, I ordered from Amazon and got my textbook in a couple of days. The only reason I didn't order from Amazon in the first place was the book was cheaper on this one site, but the price on Amazon must have dropped over the MONTH I was waiting for my book. This is my first time putting in a review for a product, and I may go to the BBB and file a complaint if they drag their feet on a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!"
"Ordered a book to be delivered to a friend Oct 29, with an estimated 3 weeks delivery time.
Three weeks later I had still not received any notice that the book has shipped, and contacted customer service by email. Apart from an automated response I heard nothing back.
Now it is 10 days later, and I emailed customer support again, threatening to have my credit card reverse the charge. Only response was another automated message, asking me to refer to the tracking information (of which none has been provided).
This does not appear to be a legitimate business."

"I ordered a book on April 27, 2020 and have shipping information stating it is on its way. Now 6/5/20 says out of stock. Communications with the company said it was on its way, just delayed. Either they were falsifying information stating it was on its way, falsifying tracking information or just totally incompetent. Do not order from this company."
