"Pros: Very bright, nice color. They fit nicely in the sockets of our kitchen undercounter lighting. They reduce the power consumption from 325 watts with halogen bulbs to 32!

Con: our fixtures provide 12 V AC. This causes some flicker at 60 Hz that manifests as a strobing effect on anything that is moving fast under the lights. I suppose if it were DC that would be cured. I had assumed that since the LEDs are rated for either AC or DC they would have a rectifier built in. "

"I ordered two of BA9S-WWHP5, as they were recommended by Super Bright LED's bulb finder to replace the license plate lights on my 1986 VW Cabriolet.

While shipping was fast, and the bulbs themselves are of good quality and light output, I can only give two stars because they simply do not fit. They are significantly longer than the OEM incandescent bulbs and prevent the light cover from being reinstalled."

"I have a number of built-in concrete wall sconces with halogen bulbs, 18 years. They burn out so often I gave up. Stumbled across this company, called them and spoke with tech. Ordered ONE to try it out. It is a wonder. Brighter, far cooler, less -e, fits perfectly into the socket, is as described, a warm incandescent style color (~2700 to 3000k) - in short, apparently perfect! So I ordered a batch for every fixture that's been dark for years. They are almost too bright, it is such a contrast, and restores a certain great quality to my house' appearance. I look forward to NEVER having to replace one of these bulbs again as long as I live. :) "

"These bulbs are not "super" bright due to there are only three lighting elements on top. But that is not the problem. The problem is the two or four "thin" contact wires. I had to carefully adjust them in order to make good contact with the socket. It took me a couple fitting to get them to work. Overall they are "okay" bulbs. I have seen other LED bulbs with heavy gauge contacting wires. And also four to six lighting elements. They cost a little more though."

"The jury is still out regarding the LED conversion for the 9005 LED bulb with fan.
I have to say that for local use on dimly lit rural roads these bulbs are outstanding.
The test will be driving on highways (freeways) that don't have any lighting. My concern would be that these bulbs may not project out as far as the conventional halogen bulb. The LED units perform more like a flood light whereas the halogen bulbs will be more like a spot light.
The final concern is will they pass the state inspection when it comes time in June.
Glad there is a 2 year warranty with these bulbs as indicated by correspondence with Super Bright LED Support.
