I got the replacement wireless keyboard and mouse. Unfortunately, they were refurbished items again. There was a clear label on the box that these were "reworked" items. It appears that their web site had wrong information on the merchandise condition. It's hard to believe that they accidently shipped 2 refurbished items by accident back-to-back. I suspect that they only have reworked items. (just the one I ordered. I am NOT saying anything about their other merchandises.) The replacement keyboard and mouse looked much cleaner (like new). I enede up compromizing, rather than returning both packages. They gave me a partial refund, as the item was not new as advertised. They also sent me a pre-paid UPS return label. Even though I was disappointed, I am not all that upset because they tried to correct it in good faith, and return process was not too painful. I will shop there again.

I got an e-mail from the resellerratings.com to update my case. Few days ago, someone from the surpluscomputers.com sent me an e-mail that she would send me a new item (brand new as advertised) with a pre-paid return label for the refurbished one they had sent me earlier. It sort of restored my faith in the merchant, but I have not yet received anything (package or tracking #). So I am reserving my final judgment on this vendor until I get the replacement item. I am really curious to see if it will be a brand new item this time.

I ordered MS wireless optical mouse and keyboard combo pack. I checked the item condition on their web site before I placed order. It clearly stated they were "new." In fact, as of this writing, it still shows the condition to be "new." When I got the keyboard and mouse, a label on the box stated they were "reworked" (exact words). When I opened the box, I could clearly see visible signs of wear - especially on the mouse. The document that came with it stated batteries were included, but I coud not find any batteries in the package. I NEVER buy refurbished items. Had I known they were "reworked," I would have never ordered them. When I called them (no toll-free #), I got a message to leave a name and phone number so that someone can call back in *48 hours*. 48 hours?!! Ridiculous!!! I have sent them an e-mail to rectify the situation. I will have to see how they resolve this issue, before deciding whether to do business with them again. BTW, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge, as items other than advertized were delivered. "
