"Absolute NIGHTMARE... I sat at home 2 days waiting for my order and it never arrived. Shipping was set up on the 21st, I cannot fathom how unprofessional a company has to be to miss a window with 10 days notice. I called the shipping company (I do not understand WHY the customer has to deal with this, this should be handled IN HOUSE) they told me 4 different delivery times by 830pm I called them back and asked where my package was and I was told... "Our driver had to go home, your package will arrive at 8am tomorrow sorry." Sustainable Supply, Baileys Shipping, or Rhino never called me ONCE to give me an update I have had to call and call at every missed time "window" only to get another excuse. Finally I call the shipping company at 2pm DAY TWO and just canceled the order. I called Sustainable Supply and I get that "its MY fault because I did not call them the day before!" IT'S YOUR SYSTEM NOT MINE!
Brian from SS called and they are making it right. I was a bit harsh waiting around does that. They are a responisible and reliable for that. The shipping company has called me again and the item is enroute."

"We need to get to a renewable energy and product infrastructure. As we have learned in the PNW, determining just what is green and renewable is not straight forward, so I support Sustainable Supply in trying to figure out what green really means. The customer service was just what I wanted.
From my experience and what I understand of it, this is company headed in the direction we need to go. The ledger for determining where a manufactured object falls on the carbon or green continuum begins with the production costs of the materials, such as energy costs to mine and refine metals, harvest and machine woods, etc. This all counts. So, we need to be clear that each item, be it a piece of clothing or a house, comes with a carbon debt attached to it. It is not zero when we take possession of it. And it seems to me, that if we really are serious about green buildings, they will not be situated in beautiful wild-appearing places. That's a definite shift in business model.

"I'll make this as brief a story as I can.
My lovely friend has an old Bradley shower valve that needed help. I looked online for replacement guts, and found what I needed at Sustainable Supply (SS). I placed the order. Then, I discovered that we didn't need to replace the guts, but only wait until she remodels in the spring to replace everything in the bath.
Along the way, this is what I've discovered about SS:
1) They had the right product (the guts to an obscure 30-year-old shower valve)
2) They had the right price.
3) The parts were shipped on schedule.
4) Their return instructions were explicit (even though I f'ed up the return address).
5) Their response to my irritated inquiry about my credit was kind.
6) They have been responsive, EVEN THOUGH it was my mistake.
