"I have ordered twice from System-Mods. The first time was about a year ago and they were FAST. It took less than 3 days to get my chip. This time, however, they were swamped with X3 orders, and it took a whole week just to ship the chip. Once in the mail, it only took 3 business days to recieve the chip.

The guys at System-Mods are great with tech support; they'll try to answer any qustion you might have about your chip. They kept me well informed of the status of my order.

All in all, I love these guys and I wouldn't think of buying a mod chip anywhere else.

"I placed an $600 order on 10/4/04 via overnight, at which time the assurance was made the order would ship on or after 10/21, for use with my home business. As of today, 10/18, 2 weeks later, my product has still not shipped. Also somehow it's shipping status has been changed to two day while I've already paid for overnight. I contacted Systemmods and asked for an explanation and a refund as they had no sent out my shipment yet. The employee I spoke to informed me that even though the shipment has not been sent out yet, he can not refund my money. I asked to speak to a manager or owner and he flat out said no, telling me he did not have the ability to let me talk to anyone besides himself. So now I am left, still waiting for my shipment, still unsent after 14 days, and shipping two day when I paid overnight. This has been a horrendous experience with very unhelpful people and I would recommend against Systemmods and buy my products elsewhere."

I cannot reccomend System-Mods to anyone,
infact I reccomend you do buisness elsewhere.

Oct. 9 I ordered a X3 chip with over night shipping, knowing that it will not even begin to be processed untill Monday. Monday comes
and the status is "packed". I figure if its that far it would be sent off and I would have it Tuesday.. Tue. comes and the status is still "packed".. I look on the website and find SMT has
a IRC channel for support (very strange) - so I join and find there are tons of customers complaining about not getting their products, and the staff is very rude to them.. Wed. rolls around and still in "packed" status. I ask in the IRC channel whats going on, and that I payed for over-night and was told "That is only a measure of transit from when DHL gets it to you - not us getting it to you" despite their site stating 24-48hr turn around time (which means it should ship after that period). I was also told "Your order will ship today, mabe" .. Observed more customers compain in the chat room. Thursday comes and it still hasnt been shipped. Same BS answer "It will ship today". Also more customers compalining and rude staff behavior. Fri comes and finally a week later it ships. No good now that its the weekend and the over-night is void because it will sit in limbo untill Monday.

Now I also observed the "We only ship on Fridays" comment. Well if thats true how come everyday I was told my order would ship?

If you need proof the staff is unprofesional
attitude toward customers and has no idea how
to run a buisness, join the IRC channel or just take a look at NOLGA's responce(s) to customers negative posts on this site.

LONG STORY SHORT:
SMT operates in a unprofessional manner with complete disregard to the customer. A "when we get to it" and "whatever" attitude has been observed.
They are nearly impossible to reach by phone and
mainly operate their customer service out of a IRC room which is very impersonal. Their site states 24-48hr processing, which couldnt be farther from the truth.

I reccomend to potential customers you do research and find another place to do buisness.

No one wants to hear the "we got over-flowed and cant keep up" line anymore. That just means you spread yourself to thin. Tuff.

"Ordered on October 9th. Still haven't recieved my modchip Xecuter 2.6 Lite. A week later October 15th will begin shipment (which will take another week by DHL). If you expect expedite shipment don't expect it from system-mods.com. Previously ordered from chipdealers.com. Recieved my product in 3 business days. I tried to have my orders shipped out promptly but recieved a response stating that orders ship on fridays. What kind of business is this? "

"Processing time took 24 hrs and order status went into "Packing" stage. 15 Oct the order status just now went into "Shipped" WTF 5 days to put an item into a mailbox to be mailed off?

well my order status finally went to "Complete" on Friday. To bad everytime i click on 'Track Order' i get hit with a "Tracking Your Order Is Not Available At This Time. Please Try Again Later."

"Horrible. Ordered a chip two weeks ago. Order was on "New Order" status for 4 days, then on "Packed" status for another 5 days. I've had a tracking number with DHL for 3 days now but nothing has been shipped from the company. I called System-Mods and asked to talk to someone responsible for my order, the person on the phone said flat out "I can't do that" and hung up on me. Worst customer support I've ever had. I hope to never have to deal with someone like this again."

"horrible, nothing but problems, I sent them my xbox for install service and after a week I emailed them and they said it would ship early the next week, well it's been nearly 3 weeks and it still hasnt shipped, I told them to cancel my order and ship it back to me.
After 60 days they admited they couldnt get my xbox back from a ex installer and they sent me a referbished xbox missing a hard drive screw and a case screw half out and I never received the "new" accessories they promised to send me for all the inconviance.

"Beware, do not order chips from this store when new chips are just coming out such as the X3. I ordered my X2.6 11 days ago and it just shipped today. Not saying they are a bad store. Just DO NOT order any other chips from these guys then the new ones when the new ones start shipping. They totally put your order off to the side. Their website clearly says Processing time takes 24-48hrs. 11 days seems a little over that. Anyways, good channel, good support."

"Paid with paypal and a week later they ship it out giving me an excuse of xecuter 3 pre-orders they claim 24-48 hour turn around took way longer than that this is not the second time this has happened already ordered more than a thousand dollars and still i get no respect.. bad customer service... "Order 54434

This "business" has a TERRIBLE shipping department. I placed my order on the 9th on a Sunday. Monday came and the status was "packed." Wednesday comes still just packed so I went to the IRC chatroom. The moderator there assures me that it will be out today and the latest tomorrow. I said fine and left. Wednesday goes by nothing, Thursday rolls by nothing. I log onto the chat room again and was met, once again, by very rude impersonal moderators. Stating if
"I am done complainting," "if i dont like it take my money back" and the all too famous "we'll get to yours when we can." This isn't just me being treated this way - I saw countless customers come in upset about the delay and then treated harshly.

Monday afternoon (over 1 week later) my package arrives. If they could not deliver with their "24-48" hour turn around time and if they were soooo backed up from pre-orders then why didn't they inform anyone on their website.

Bottom line is they are quick to take your money and are lazy, rude, and unprofessional when it comes to their end of the bargain. And surprisingly its never their fault.

They definately need to do something about their shipping department and customer service.
