"If asked a year ago I would have recommended this school. But now I count down the days to when this place is in my rear view mirror. Communication from management has deteriorated to nothing. Sanitation has dwindled. The teachers for the most part are great and appear to be engaged but for one reason or another Tutor Time struggles greatly to keep good staff. Perhaps management drives the good ones away. Tutor Time is more concerned with its costs than the care of the children. Very sad, it seems to be only about the money for them."

"Overall we’ve had a good experience. Recent turnover of a large amount of staff was concerning, however things seem to have stabilized. The constantly increasing cost is making us consider other options for the future when we have two infants enrolled."

"There has been a recent change with the director and she has not made a good first impression. Her letters are unprofessional and seem like she doesn’t care about the families. She said with a new director there’s a lot of change but doesn’t mention if it’s positive or negative. Another letter states some children will be transitioned to the next classroom in just 3 days to open a new infant room...so no transition period for the children, teachers or parents. I understand the need for additional infant space, but don’t appreciate how it’s being handled. The older children are being impacted esp after a sizeable rate increase. There has been high teacher turnover and lack of communication at pick up (asking how my child’s day was and being told “great question, I have no idea” is a little worrisome). I hope the regional director can work with the new director on her communication skills and all the changes aren’t going to be just telling parents this is the way it is..deal with it."

"I could not say enough good things about this facility! the difference in my son was IMMEDIATE and now he is constantly complimented on how smart and outgoing he is, which i thank Tutor Time for! We all know how scary it can be to put your child in the care of others and go to work for 8+ hours a day. I have never once had a single worry that my son was being cared for, educated, or safe.I HIGHLY recommend anyone to enroll their child(ren) here!.. the infant room does have a bit of a wait list... but i completely understand why! THIS PLACE ROCKS!"

"The first 2 years were AMAZING!! We didn't have any complaints. Then a new director came in and everything changed. Now we have another new director - and we are to see what new changes she will have. The turnover with staff is the highest we have ever seen. Let's hope the changes slow down."

"For the first 3.5 years, this school was everything we wanted for our children. They learned, they were nurtured, they were cared for genuinely, no issues with exception of one time with one teacher and it was rectified immediately. Our one child was just moved to a new classroom and our other child is leaving so I hope things even out more. I hate that I feel this way about TT, but it’s clearly just corporate greed now."

"The school has helped dramatically with our son's social skills. Any struggles he has now (potty training, listening) are met with patience and firmness. He has great relationships with the staff. I truly feel like he is comfortable at TutorTime. I feel like he might benefit from a more challenging curriculum (ie one of the activities in his classroom this month is going over numbers 1-10 and he can count much higher than that). I am so grateful for the hours of operation; many daycares close at 5 or 5:30, but TT closes at 6 which is helpful for my long-distance commute."

I really do enjoy and appreciate the staff in East Greenbush. They really do care. I think the increase in price was a bit of a slap in the face. $340 a week for childcare is a lot."
