"I was surprised when the product I ordered turned out not to be the one pictured. Since they don't tell you the name or give you an ASIN number all you have to go by is the picture. In this case they used a picture of a very popular product on Amazon. I think this is a deceptive marketing tactic. So buyer beware."
"FRAUD!!!
I placed my order on 6/30, and received shipping and tracking info on 7/2. "Your order has been processed and is being shipped." GREAT, right? Not so quick.
On 7/8, after the other half of the same order (separate shipment) had arrived, the tracking for this shipment still came up as invalid, and tanga's site still showed the items in processing. How can that be, when my items have already been processed, and were being shipped 6 days prior??? I chatted with customer service Minnie, and she said they showed out of stock (mine were already processed and shipped though?), but she double check the warehouse and see about a reshipment. I'd get a response within 2-3 days.
No response on the 3rd day, so I sent an email, and started another chat session, and got Minnie again. After pointing out that charging for items that you don't have, and then issuing false tracking info is the same fraud that Chinese companies are accustomed to, this is part of the response I received:
"Fine. Here is an explanation. We did charge you for an item that we didn't have 'at that exact moment' because it was enroute to us. Did you know that frequently on almost a weekly basis we get ripped off by those chinese companies you mentioned? And they end up shorting us product, and keeping our money. That's why we didn't have the product you ordered. I'm sorry that our system is not as simple as you would like it all to be. That's why we didn't have the item, why it was never packed, and why it was never shipped to you. ......... Now, we've been scammed..... we are happy to provide you with a refund, however, we want you to know that we are not the scammers, or fraudulent party, nor is it you."
How is it ok to screw the customer, just because you got screwed? And how did the thought ever cross her mind that I would be considered the "fraudulent party"? She blamed all this on a " glitch" that somehow charged for, and created a tracking number for, product not in inventory. She then took exception to me not being happy that I was being lied too. This was fraud, simple as that. "

"I didn't know that Reseller Ratings existed until a Tanga representative replied to an email I sent to them, in which I praised their quick turnaround and excellent customer service. She said they wouldn't be offended if I came here and wrote a review, which I am happy to do. I have placed seven orders with Tanga and have been pleased with customer service. If you aren't familiar with Tanga, they are a re-seller - there are many on the web and some of them might as well be automated. My typical experience is that they are slow to respond and rarely offer options for problems - it's usually return the merch and place another offer. Tanga is the polar opposite of that - when I have had issues, I have been presented with options and allowed to choose the solution which suits me best. As for the merchandise, it's a great selection. Quality usually exceeds price, and the worst case scenario I've encountered is that I got exactly what I paid for (with which I was still very happy). It's going to happen from time to time with any of these types of re-sellers that I'm not going to get exactly what I ordered. That's because they don't warehouse this stuff themselves; they rely on fulfillment centers to do that, which is a pretty standard practice. When I haven't received what I ordered, Tanga immediately addressed the situation and I was more than pleased with the solution.
Top notch service sets Tanga apart. I recommend them to my friends. I have gotten in the habit of checking Tanga first to see if they have something I want before I look elsewhere. Try them and you won't be disappointed!"

"I ordered the Pink Amor Gel Nails, and it arrived very quickly, (as does everything I have ordered from Tanga). As soon as I started to open the package, I noticed a very strong nail polish smell. Then as I opened one of the boxes, there was nail polish all over it, and the bottle was stuck, So I opened the bottom of the box and pushed the bottle up , and polish was all over the bottle and box, and was almost empty. I contacted support and Tanga Holly responded the very next day. She was extremely helpful....suggested that I take a photo of the defective bottle. My cell phone takes pictures, but does not download to the computer, so she just said she would give me a full refund, and I could reorder another if I wanted to. Tanga is a great company! I have orderd several items from them with no problem. And this problem was handled very courteously, in a timely manner, and to my satisfaction!!! Thank you, Tanga Holly!!!"

But, unfortunately, the adapter I ordered stopped working after several hours of use... I contacted Tanga customer service via email and got the response in 10 min. They offered me a replacement or refund. I decided "refund". They fully compensated me.

"This was my first purchase on Tanga. I ordered a lavender pendant and earrings. Instead, I received a pair of crystal earring and no pendant. I emailed Tanga. They quickly responded, apologized and asked me to send a picture of what I received. After I did this they asked if I would like a refund or for them to send my order or credit? I asked for my item if available, if not available, I said I would prefer a refund. They sent a USPS label for me to send my product back and said they would issue a refund after they received the erroneously sent product. This was quite a hassle for me because not only do I not have a printer to print out the label, but it also took a lot of time to place the order, take the picture for them, do all the correspondence for the refund and then have to go mail it back all just to get my money back and never to receive the item I additionally ordered. They did not offer anything for the inconvenience and when I sent an email asking if they would, I did not receive a response."
