"This is a terrible company, that outright lies to their customers. I was promised a full refund within 48 hours of receiving the product. They received the product a week ago, i still don't have a refund. I used their online chat last night to find out they're charging me a $66 restocking fee for a $331 product, when I was promised no restocking fees. I returned the product to them in new condition, exactly as I received it. After speaking with other people on message boards, it sounds like this company sells used/returned products as new, and then charges restocking fees over and over again. What a scam!"

"My back up leak detector failed, my H10PM was damaged, and the sensor in my Tec-Mate failed. Looking for another back up I found the Compass by Inficon, rechargeable and has ear bud plug. This thing works so good that the Tec-Mate is now the back up. Still slow to recharge like the H10PM but last at twice as long and you can hear it with the ear buds in noisy motor rooms, one hand to use and reaches farther. So far it has out worked any other leak sniffer I have had in my 40 years with this stuff, for half the cost of old trusty. With regular ground shipping I had it in 2 days. Excellent!

“My name is Brian Moran and I am the contact center manager. I personally reviewed all eight chats, both phone calls, and all emails between you and members of our company. At no time did anyone lie to you or misrepresent any detail about the products we sell. In fact, I find you were less than forthcoming when speaking to our vice president. In the chat with him you indicated that one of our call center representatives committed to an upgrade in a previous communication. This is utterly false. As I said, I have reviewed all the chat transcripts and never were you promised this upgrade. Furthermore, when you suggested that your intent was to “hack” the unit you had already purchased our VP advised that this could result in void of your warranty. This was not acceptable to you so you decided to return the unit. We received the unit back on 8-30-2018, we were able to check the item in on the 31st. This is when we discovered the item was not returned as new and issued notification for a refund minus the restocking fee was sent to our accounting team. You were emailed on the same day indicating that we would issue the refund in 48-72 hours. With Labor Day being a national holiday, this would put the refund date between September 4th and the 6th. We tried to refund you, however you had initiated a dispute with PayPal which prevented us from completing the refund until the 6th. I can understand being frustrated, however it is our opinion this does not justify the verbal abuse you unleashed on our team via chat. I am sorry you were not happy with the unit, but profanity and insults are not great ways to communicate with people. To close the issue without further discourse we even went above and beyond and refunded the restocking fee against my recommendation. If you would like to discuss this with me I would be happy to take your call. ”
