"I would never order from this seller again. No where during the order process did it list that my item was out of stock. They sent me a delivery confirmation including a tracking number for an item that they never even shipped. Now a month later I have received the wrong item and to top it off the packaging was so sub-standard that the item they sent was visibly damaged. They are impossible to contact directly and apparently expect their customers to pay for their mistakes. I would never order from them again and I advise all consumers to do their best to stand up against vendors like this. They give online shopping a bad name."

This has been my first experience with this company, and it will be my LAST! I have been lied to several times over regarding my merchandise ($100US) I was immediately billed for, but still have not received (it is 3 MONTHS LATER).
My phone calls (answering machine, only) were not responded to, and my numerous email messages have ranged from messages of bogus shipping numbers ... stating it has been shipped ... the finally stating it was never shipped but backordered ... and finally ZERO responses at all.
This company is bogus and I recommend steering clear of "www.the-console-corner.com" at ALL COSTS! Ordered August 2004 ... no product nor contact November 2004.

"WOW- I feel that I am the latest victim. After placing an order and receiving a couple confirmation emails, my order history from system-modz.com (The Console Corner) suddenly shows that I have never placed an order with them. My email attempts have been completely ignored.
This all happened right after my check was cashed- interesting. Needless to say I came across all this negative feedback AFTER I placed my order. Stay away from this guy. Am currently contacting the BBB and internet fraud division on the FBI.
Also, note that one of the only positive reviews posted is from "tammyfilipiak" - same last name as the store owner.
Any advice from someone who has been successful in getting a refund from here would be greatly appreciated.

Although I am still displeased with the shipping situation and the lack of contact, I was finally able to make contact on the telephone and spoke with Mr. Filipiak personally and the issue was resolved and my order was refunded immediately. He seemed friendly enough, and was quick to realize his company's errors in my order. Once you can get a hold of them, you can at least speak well with them. "
"Uggghhh, what a bad experience.
I never recived any actual contact with the console corner, all my contact with them was through pay-pal's complaint department.
I ordered a Xenium Ice solderless kit on the 9th, and never recived an order confirmation email from them, and after 6 days still had no tracking number. It was time to call in pay-pal.
On the 19th paypal sent me an email stating that the consle corner claimed to have shipped my package, and they gave me the tracking number he provided. The tracking number was bogus, so i left the dispute open.
On the 25th, I received a package from TCC in the mail. I had finaly received my mod chip. I looked oved the padded envelope it came in. It was postmarked on the 23rd, well after he said it was shipped. Moreover, the actual shipping fee was $1.50, and he had charged me $5 for priority mail. which means he pocketed an extra $3.50.
Stay away from this guy."

Monday, Sept. 6
I get an email with the USPS tracking #03041070000158259014 and notice that my order has shipped.
Friday, Sept 10
USPS delivers a package at 3:15 PM.
I open the package and inside is:
1. "Eclipse 2" 2.4Ghz Wireless Controller
2. X-Gunner Mark II Light Gun
I quickly email the seller that they're missing an X-Gunner Mark II Light Gun that I paid for, but did not receive. I requested a refund.
I get an automated response at 5:07 PM saying that the seller will be unable to contact until Wednesday, Sept. 18 due to so called moving/upgrading their facilities.
Saturday, Sept. 18
I am filing this Merchandise Dispute because:
1. I paid for a product and I did not receive that product.
2. I attempted to resolve this with the seller, but the seller is unresponsive or irresponsible.
3. There iis a 30 day limit to file a complaint and this limit is running out.
4. I checked http://resellerratings.com/seller4606.html for this seller. His rating is 1.67.
5. On the same site, I read that many other buyers have suffered what I am experiencing now. And that the seller is getting away with it.
What I hope for:
1. A refund for $24.99.
2. For PayPal to either end service with this seller, watch this seller's scams, or at least mark this seller as unreliable.
If PayPal cannot verify this claim, I can understand. However, PLEASE do not allow other people to be SUCKERED. Please stop this seller from taking advantage of paypal customers.

- Finally he replied and agreed to take the item back.

About all the good reviews here, I must admit initially I was very pleased with him as the first five orders were shipped without any real problems (one time the wrong item, he promised to sent me the correct item, still waiting for it, but this item was only worth $ 3, so it didn't upset me).
