"Purchasing from this company has been the worst experience on the internet.

I purchased 2 ps2 lens from console corner. However, both didn't work. I understood that they do not excepr refunds, just exchanges.

So I sent the 2 lenses back with a list of exchanges. I constantly emailed him about the exchange status and he said it was shipped. Asked for the tracking number; he said he lost it.

This back and forth took more than a month. At last he refunded just half of my purchase price. He did not return my emails after that.

The site has one of the cheapest merchandise available but its all a hoax. Its just too good to be true. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS PERSON.

He is changing his site to www.system-modz.com
So beware of this site too. Better Business Bureau also has a not too good review on this company.

Please stop new buyers from making the same mistake I did by providing a bad rating at the links below.

"I ordered a pair of Swap Magic Disks and the day after(the 2nd), I sent an email saying to cancel my order. I sent a second email on the 4th, and a third email on the 5th. I got a reply on the 5th asking for my order number. I sent an email back with my order number. I recived an email a couple hours later saying that my order has already been shipped. This guy had a 3 day notice, 3 DAYS and he could not cancel an order. Complete crap, I suggest never to do business here. Also my tracking number doesn't work, who knows if I will even get my order. "

"This guy absolutely sucks. I ordered 2 items from him mid november that were deceptivly labled as in stock now but actually were not in stock. I was immediatly billed for the full amount even though the items were not shipped. I recieved a shipping number the same day which never has and still does not work. I have had to cancel my first order with him because he claimed the items I wanted would now not be in stock untill Jan. So I changed my order for a lesser product. It has been over a month now and I still have no products. In my emails with him he either does not respond, is rude or even lies. I have been told my order will ship in 24 hrs in one email and waited a week and had no order another was your order shipped today and that was over a week ago. Priority mail only takes 2-3 days. Do not ever buy a product from this guy its the worst online shopping expierance I have ever had and he will never get my buisness again even if he paid me for it. Total fraud"

"Please beware of this guy, it's a one man show not a company! My order hasn't been shipped and its going on 2 weeks. I asked if the product was in-stock and he said yes it will be shipped in 24hrs. But I'm still waiting, so stand clear!!!"

"I placed my order with The Console Corner on Nov 18, 2003. I received order confirmation via email rather quickly from mypaysystems.com. The next day (Nov 19) I received an email listing my USPS tracking # and, amazingly, the order shipped that same day.

I had paid for Global Express Mail service which should have been an overnight shipment. When I returned home on the 20th I had expected to see the package, or at least a note from the USPS. When I saw neither I decided to call my local post office to track the package with more details.

I was told by the USPS rep that my order was shipped via Priority mail. I had paid for express which was a HUGE difference in price from priority (Priority is approx. $5 and Express is approx $20). Not only that, but the USPS rep also told me that the total postage paid by the shipper was $4.75. Needless to say I am very disappointed in this matter. Hopefully my chip will arrive tomorrow or Saturday thanks to the messed up shipping. I will be contacting TCC directly to request a full refund on shipping. I absolutely refuse to pay for a service which I did not receive.

Regardless of whether or not my chip shows up, I feel I've been ripped off.

update: Console Corner was quick to respond and has offered a refund of my shipping charges.

"I don't know what's wrong with this seller, I have ordered xbit since september 2003, but 'till now (November 2003) I haven't received my xbit. I paid 13$ for shipping and they said there is no shipping number, I felt like being tricked. I've had email them couple times, and every time they just said shipped to you 100%. Becareful looks like this seller don't resonsible after they charge for your money. I have ordered couple times with other seller never before this happened."

"I totally agree with all the negative comments here. Everything looked good. I live in the UK. The item I wanted was quite expensive here and console corner was cheaper even with the postage.

The item arrived quickly, but was wrong. I contacted them and they said return it. I asked for a refund of postage. They agreed. I even tried to tell them that the postage back was probably more than the product was worth but they still insisted I sent it back.

I sent it back. Heard nothing for weeks even though it only took a few days to get back. Didn't get any promised refund of my postage. Then they promised that if I didn't get it soon I would be sent 2. Those didn't arrive. If the guy was in the UK I would sue him as his promise to send me 2 constitutes a legally binding contract.

I eventually got my refund back 2 months after the order but not my return postage. He has wasted so much of my time it is unbelievable.

It is a pity that there isn't a wider audience to nail this guy. What an idiot. If he had delivered the right thing, I would have put so much business his way. Hope he goes bust.

"Buyers beware! I ordered two game system mods; a gameboy advance cart programmer & 1 xbox mod chip. I received the wrong programmer and my xbox chip was missing ! No packing slip was provided and the seller expressed no interest in explaining or resolving the problem. I paid $149.99 for the wrong programmer and $54.99 for nothing at all. I get the feeling that I was lucky to have received anything from this seller!"
