ORDER NEVER DELIVERED

"I ordered heated glove liners and at first FedEX first said the address was wrong. I got two updates that it was corrected. Next came 5 claims "No one was home, business closed" There are 5 people here all day. FedEX lied about 5 attempted deliveries. The staff at the WARMING STORE refused to contact FedEx. FedEx wont deliver without them calling. My package has now been at the Redmond, Wa FedEx location for 5 days without action. FIVE days on a shelf. I called Gerbing directly, The warming store was bought by Just Brands and handles all orders for several heated gear makers, including Gerbing. I told them the story and that it was the wrong item to begin with. Gerbing said they were sending the right item with a return label. That was 7 days ago. No indication anything was sent. DO NOT SHOP AT THE WARMING STORE. THEY USE THE CHEAPEST OPTION AT FEDEX AND IF ANYTHING GOES WRON YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR PURCHASE OR A REFUND."

It's Scam

"Placed an order for heated glove liners, waited eleven days for a shipping notification. Their site showed the order was still in processing. I followed up to see if everything was OK. "Angela" told me the item had already shipped, and the issue must be with USPS. She gave me a tracking number which, when checked, said the item had been delivered to an address in another state halfway across the country an 1/2/2023. EXCEPT THERE WAS NO USPS DELIVERY ON 1/2/2023!!!!

After reading the loads of other bad reviews on this site, I am pretty sure I have been scammed. Steer clear of these chiselers!!

'On sale' at Thanksgiving but then out of stock...paid MORE for same goggles AGAIN...but NOT here for Christmas...

"Ordered goggles 'on sale' before Thanksgiving, but then 2 weeks later 'out of stock'. Had to order again, but they COST MORE. Still, was trying to get for Christmas, supposed to be here by Christmas Eve (for a gift). It is now AFTER Christmas and still not arrived. This feels like a 'bait and switch' x2!!!... and poorest service ever! If I could give 0 stars I would."

I would not order from this site

"I ordered 2 heater suits for my sons from this company, over 600.00, I received one, but of course was billed for 2. I called and they informed me that they are out of the other size of the other one and it should be here within 2 months. Well they needed these for hunting in the winter, so it’ll be useless in the summer. Will never order from here again."

Horrible business

"Super slow shipping and got the wrong part.After i called and talked with customer service in india-i have to send back wrong part wait another 2 weeks to get the right part hopefully sent out.Complete joke horrible customer service.As you can see in the pics no way you can mistake the part number.I will never order anything again from them.

Charges are run when they don’t even have the items in stock

"I ordered a suitcase for 579.00. The website stated it was available. After 10 days I received an email stating the order was still pending fulfillment. When I called to inquire why it hadn’t shipped I was told it was back ordered but would be I stock by the end of the week. After several calls and several more dates given for the item to be back in stock I called to cancel the item after waiting more than a month. They charged my credit card immediately upon placing the order and when I asked why they run charges for merchandise they don’t have, I was given the infuriating and ridiculous answer that “the item is available. It’s just not in stock”. Curious to see how long it takes and how many phone calls it takes to get a refund. "

A Drop Shipper

"[02/06/2022 - Edit: Just today discovered that this store has an "F" rating from the BBB.]

As others have noted, The Warming Store's s.o.p. is to keep schtum about the fact that the item that you want is out-of-stock, its aim being to keep ahold of your order regardless of how many months it takes to get in the merchandise. If you send it an inquiry about the delay in delivery, it will pretend that its failure to notify you is an oversight but that the item is expected in "7 to 10 business days", which is another way of saying, "In the sweet by and by." Telephone inquiries are routed to customer service reps in some foreign country (probably the Philippines) whose accents make them unintelligible. If one tries to use the "Chat" feature, it is always unavailable, even in the middle of the day. One has to open a "ticket" to get a responsive reply. If one places an order by telephone, one's credit card is charged upon ordering rather than upon shipment. Getting a refund takes "7 to 10 business days". (Again.) I haven't received mine yet.

Which makes one suspect that "The Warming Store" is a drop shipper with just enough inventory to pretend to be a legitimate store and a negligible physical presence beyond its attractive website and a contract with a Philippine order processor.

Don't waste your time.

Worst customer service

"I bought a pair of cooling vests from them in August 2021, and at that time received no response (no email confirmation, but they had my credit card info). TWO MONTHS later, I see a charge on my account, and a few days later I get the vests. (October- not exactly a useful time to get cooling vests). Turns out the vests were back ordered and they never mentioned this. I got return info and immediately returned the vests. Now in December, six weeks after the return, I STILL don't have a credit from them. I've called numerous times and each time they tell me "there was an error- the refund will be issued in 5-7 business days". STAY AWAY from this business! Their customer service is absolute crap!"

You won't receive what you order!!!

"As the title says. You won't receive your order.
I placed an order for hundreds of $ of merchandise and paid for expedited shipping. It took almost a month and SEVERAL phone calls and emails before they even bothered to tell me the most expensive item was sold out, and to cancel the order!

Company uses deceptive business practices.

"My order was charged to credit card and was told it had shipped and was given a tracking number. After several weeks passed and product had not arrived, I wrote to the company, and by return email was told the there was a “slight” back log and that the product was expected in stock in 7-10 days. That email was dated April 6. It is now April 23. This company has had my full payment since March 25. I have requested an immediate refund and the order cancelled. Potential customers need to stay away from these unscrupulous companies and allow them to go out of business."

TERRIBLE customer service

"Got my order fast. Didn't work properly. Tried to return it. I'm on day 3 (and about 100 emails ) of trying to get a return label and the guy who emails me won't send it to me. I don't want to just return it because I have a feeling with this crappy service, I'll never get my $200 refund. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO USE!!!!!!"

SO DISAPPOINTED

"I pre ordered a heated jacket Dec. 10th 2019 for $224.00 and paid it in full. It said to be shipped Jan 15th 2020. Jan 16th I called about it and I was told it was on back order and they could not guarantee when I would receive my jacket. I requested a full refund and I will not be doing business with this place in the future. Nor will I recommend them to anyone."

They'll say anything so you won't cancel orders

"I wish I had looked at reviews before I ordered here. The website does not accurately reflect what is in stock. I ordered something with 2 days shipping and they called to tell me they wanted to follow up with me, but didn't say why, and left no number to call back. I got in touch 3 days later to find out the order would be delayed by 2 days. Frustrating as I wanted to have it for Christmas, but OK two days is fine, and they said they would refund shipping and agreed to give me 10% off. Seemed reasonable. I willed out a survey telling them I was disappointed and got a nice email back, seemed promising. Well a week and 2 days later still nothing and no reimbursement notification. I called back and they now say they never had it in stock and it's back ordered and are saying I must have misunderstood. Impossible given I wrote an email confirming what I heard the woman say on the phone and did not get an email response correcting me. So now that I'm going to clearly cancel it's time to be rude...? Everything they sell you can find somewhere else so just avoid it! "
