"I needed the unlocking company to unlock a Samsung Galaxy 10+ I bought for my boyfriend. The phone needed to be unlocked for use in Nigeria. I did not add an extra phone line but kept the phone on my current line so I had two phones on the one account. Four days after the request they asked for identification . I submitted my teacher Id. 14-20 business days and the phone remained unlocked. I had to reach out to T-Mobile to unlock the phone. I told them that their services were no longer needed. All the while they were offering to return the money the minute I unlocked the phone they sent me the code 48 hours after.
The unlocking company cannot unlock your phone. The phone company does. As long as your account is in good standing the phone company will give you the code. Sometime you can get a temporary code if you owe the company money.
Stop paying for a service that they are only rendering by getting someone on the inside to give them the code. As of now still waiting to be refunded my $75.00"

We apologize if you had a bad experience. On May 30th the order was placed and the verification email was sent a few hours after, the next day on the 31st we received the required documents and sent a eligibility check to make sure the phone was not already eligible for unlock, which it was not based on the device app failure and we then submitted on the 2nd of June stating it would take 5-10 days, On the 12th of June we sent a additional time frame email which stated due to a mid year internal audit by T-Mobile it was going to be another 4-8 days and if you could not wait we would refund the purchase. You agreed to wait so we resubmitted in the service in order to get the unlock done for you. Unfortunately there was another delay and the phone was not completed until the 26th of June. Do to the delay we told you we were going to refund 50% of the purchase.
In your case because the phone was completely paid off and not tied to any line it was easy to unlock with T-Mobile, BUT THIS IS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE as the carrier has a lot of red tape in order to unlock ie: Need to be in good standing, phone payment and contract completely up. A very low percentage fits all the boxes with T-Mobile and can get their phone unlocked directly through them. And yes temporary unlock is a good quick fix but you can only use once and after that T-Mobile will not permanently unlock for a specific amount of time afterwards (usually 90 days). I understand your frustration and we tried to work out a resolution but in the end because you had already unlocked through T-Mobile a full refund was provided as we promised. ”

"Paid through paypal on Dec 1st with the estimated time for code being 24hrs ,never receiving any confirmation number for purchase or anything. Just a paypal receipt. here I am 2 days later with no code still. I contacted via phone number and was told my order wasn’t found and now told I’m being refunded, we shall see if I actually receive it. Not very helpful I wouldn’t recommend honestly."
“Hey Meeme, Sorry for the bad experience. We did receive a order on Sunday night of thanksgiving weekend for a Verizon iPhone. The order was submitted the following day on Monday after the Thanksgiving break. The confirmation number is the tracking number on the receipt we sent, which has all the information needed to help us locate the order if there are any questions.
On Tuesday we received a phone call in the morning and we spoke via text and voice explaining there was a delay with this particular IMEI and that we would further investigate, You seemed to be understanding until we texted you back a hour later after we got a result that the IMEI was not in the database and that we had to refund.
The reason it was not in the Verizon iPhone database was because the phone is actually a Xfinity iPhone which is not on the website as we are not able to unlock. We further explained the delay could have resulted from submitting a Xfinity iPhone IMEI in the Verizon service which in turn kept attempting to try and find a unlock that did not exist as the service ordered it is not for a Xfintiy iPhone but rather Verizon iPhones”
