"We looked at a LOT of different platforms (including the main ones like Udemy) and decided on Thinkific for a bunch of reasons, but one of the main ones was flexibility. Udemy has pricing limits in place which weren't acceptable for our needs as they would de-value our offering by having to offer our courses so cheaply. Not being able to set your own price for your own product is ridiculous, but Thinkific allows us to set whatever price we want, provides great support, is well priced and I couldn't be happier with our experience with their offering.

The free plan is good for someone just dipping their toes in eLearning waters, no upfront costs, not every feature, but you will still bring in revenue. The business plan gives you full features, and greater revenue back in your pocket. You can do everything that other eLearning platforms can do. You can automatically issue completion certificates and link certificates to a student's LinkedIn account. Videos, powerpoints, resource downloads, quizzes, bundling lessons are just a few of Thinkific's capabilities. And the platform is constantly being improved."
"Before I created my course, I listened to a webinar with Thinkific and another webinar with a different course platform. I instantly chose Thinkific because Greg was genuine. He was all about sincerely wanting us to create great courses that give value to our students. Thinkific wants us to succeed for us and for the student.
Their customer support is beyond awesome. I've had a lot of questions about creating and marketing my e-course (that basically has nothing directly to do with their product) and there is always someone to help with great answers and information in a warm and friendly way. I've had interactions with several of the support team and they all beyond awesome. Thinkific has at its core the nicest, most heart-felt people I have ever worked with. This is THE key factor when I make any of my important decisions.
The platform itself is very easy to work with. I can incorporate audio, video, PDF, text and other formats into my e-course very easily. No technical experience necessary. There are lots of choices for landing pages, branding, incorporating tests, surveys, testimonials, certificates of completion, discussions within the course with students. As a course creator/instructor I can see how well my students are progressing and personally interact with them and they can interact with me.
It has great integration with many other applications, such as mail service providers and payment options through enrollment, along with others I haven't used yet. I've never had any problems with glitches or downtime. The functionality is solid. I recommend Thinkific to anyone who is even thinking of creating an online course. As great as they are now, I know they are going to keep getting better and better.
