"On the positive- I have purchased a few nice things.
Negatives-
1)I sent a VERY nice clean out bag over a month ago. I got a notice that it was recieved weeks ago and since then, nothing.
2) I made an inquiry about a package I either mistakenly received or was was considered past the return date even though I had just received it 3 days prior. Again, I got a holding email. Then nothing.
There are a couple other all things but those are my big gripes so far. I think the website is a great idea. I wish it was managed better.

"My selling experience was somewhat mediocre. I sent in clothing with brands that were listed as desirable by ThredUp. I even used the estimator tool to make sure that similar items/brands were selling before I mailed my bag in. For example, I sent in a black HOBO clutch in perfect condition (no scratches, stains, fading) which retails between $75-$100. This item was not even purchased from my bag. Even now, the Earnings Calculator shows that similar HOBO items are accepted and granted a small payout. I'm not sure if I will be selling again.
My purchasing experience has been mostly positive. I was able to make some great purchases of good quality items. One downfall is that there are so few details on the item descriptions, it is sometimes difficult to see what you're getting. For example, I ordered a pair of Paige denim pants that appeared solid black in the pictures. There was nothing in the description to suggest otherwise. When the pants arrived, they had a very obvious and distinct floral pattern woven into the pants...in a velvet material. I had to return these and exchange.
