"We bought tickets for Tyler the Creator @MSG.l after we had a bad experience with SeatGeek.
The Good: The app is great and we were even able to get an extra discount code from someone at TixIQ when we called because the code we had wasn’t working. It was for and additional $50 off tix of $300 or more, and that was on top of their lower price per ticket compared to other ticketing venues.
The Bad: Once we purchased we got a bunch of emails letting us know the tickets would be sent out at minimum a day before the event, but nothing else. We contacted them via email inquiring about when & if they would require a signature, because we share a mailbox with the other tenants. We just could not get a straight answer. Tried calling and leaving messages but none were returned. Finally we got a hold of them on Facebook messenger. They still couldn’t give us a specific day, but then we received an email a few days later saying the tix would ship on a specific date and named the carrier-FedEx. We did receive, what looks to be legit tickets, via FedEx yesterday.
So moral of the story-I would definitely buy from them again, but at least this time I know how they handle things. I would not buy from them if I couldn’t be around to receive them since they can mail out as late as 24 hours before the event. It’s a good service price wise, but a litttle nerve-wracking. I think the reason is it’s a relatively small company run by a few dozen people. The day I called about the discount code issue, I could literally hear the person’s children in the background. This didn’t bother me because it was after business hours and I have a home business as well, but if your expecting a massive operation like Ticketbastard with tons of live agents just waiting around for your call-you’re going to be disappointed. Again, I would buy from them again-you’re mileage may vary. "
