"My order was dispatched from the USA which surprised me as I thought it was listed in stock in Ontario and was shown as shipped via UPS Ca (Canada). I was concerned about a delay at Customs and incurring brokerage fees, duty and taxes. So I called Customer Service to inquire about this and reached the most unpleasant, unhelpful & rude female CSR. I was repeatedly put on extended holds and eventually she finally agreed to put me through to her Supervisor. The Supervisor was excellent and readily addressed my issue.
My order arrived on time but there is a fault with it - the left hand Shift key sticks and sometimes remains depressed. I am unsure whether to call Customer Service because of my previous experience and because of the Order Confirmation email I received from TigerDirect: It stated that returns were not allowed! This also was not clear during the online purchase. So, I may yet contact Lenovo for a replacement but I am unhappy about having to pay for shipping and the added delay before I have a new, undamaged product. I have been extremely disappointed with this experience and have not used the laptop. I think it is unlikely that I would purchase again from TigerDirect as the savings ultimately are not there."

I was impressed that I could use it in 2009, I thought it will be 2010. it's delivered by UPS and package is almost complete (no damage except one hand hole). And the product is good. I think I will do more online shopping on Tigerdirect if I could find proper things.

"I ordered a laptop from TigerDirect.ca; the original transaction went smoothly and the shipment was on time. However, the laptop that I received was the wrong model, having the same appearance as the one I ordered but with an inferior processor and a smaller hard drive. When I contacted customer support, the problem was blamed on the manufacturer but I was told that I could send my laptop back for a full refund (including shipping both ways). I sent my laptop in and waited several weeks, but did not receive my refund. I called customer service several times, and was told that my return shipment had been received but was still being processed. Finally, after many calls to customer support, an agent told me that he would "expedite" the refund and that it would be made within a week. I received a refund within the specified time, but it was less than the purchase price and did not include shipping. I called again, and after some time the original shipping charge was refunded. Then, it took several more calls, three faxes, and a lot of time to get a refund for the return shipping fees. I still haven't received a full refund for the purchase price (I'm just over five bucks short), but I'm not going to bother about that; I've called their support line at least a dozen times about this order and am not going to waste my time doing so again. While the agents are friendly and sounded helpful, they obviously just don't have things together. Because of their terrible service, I don't intend to make any more orders from TigerDirect.ca."

This time I have got my Palm Treo Pro phone along with two other items, all working well and the phone is unlocked as stated and works well with my fido phone line. I appreciate the reliability of the "specs" they mention on this website. Before this order, I got a refurbished ASUS laptop (which is working excellently up till now), and there was a little mistmatch in the "specs": it didn't have a dial-up modem port as was described. However, I called them about this matter and they immediately sent me a usb-modem free of charge! Amazing service...I recommend this website to my friends and family all the time, even those abroad."

Order was for Gateway LX6810 Refurbished Desktop Computer - Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz, 8GB DDR2, 640GB, TV Tuner, DVDRW, Vista Home Premium 64-bit as advertised, order confirmation came back as HP Pavilion p6110f Refurbished Desktop PC - Intel Pentium E5300 2.60GHz, 6GB DDR2, 640GB HDD, DVDRW, Media Reader, Vista Home Premium 64. I figured I could live with it. 2 GB ram less than original order, but also $50.00 cheaper. Order was placed on Dec 22/09. Got an email at around 2:00 am in the morning on Jan 1/09 telling me that the substituted computer is on back order and it may take up to 30 days to ship. Of course, they're closed for the holidays so I can't even cancel the order and they waited until boxing day specials were over before sending me notification that everything is on back order. I will never even consider buying anything from Tiger Direct again unless they send me my original order at the price listed."
