"This was a great purchase. I am more than pleased with the shipping time, as I received it from the US in only 3 business days. The UPS tracking feature was also very helpful in making sure I knew when it would be arriving.

Great speed, wonderful display, plenty of power and a decent graphics card. This is a great middle-of-the-road computer which can handle most of everything you can throw at it with ease. Setup was easy and the instructions were comprehensive. Setting up the TV Tuner was a breeze. Vista is great, it's been running smooth and honestly feels much more user-friendly than Windows XP did. Built-in speaker sound quality is also very good.

The only minor cons I would have are as follows:
- The monitor is quite heavy, over 30 pounds, so it's a bit difficult to move around. This is understandable given the fact that it serves as both the monitor and the tower. Ideally, there would have been some sort of swivel so I could turn the monitor sideways if I want to use it as a beside television. But that's really not a big issue.
- The wireless keyboard and mouse are not the best, but function properly. This was also expected from prior reviews.

Well, that's pretty much all I can think of. At $1,000 with tax and shipping, it was a great deal and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, streamlined system with everything you need."

"Orders Asus P5Q MOBO, Segate 250GB SATA HD, XFX GeForce 9600 GSO 768BM Graphics Carc, OCZ Platinum Mem 2 x 2048MB, Q6600 CPU.

Ordered on December 27, 2009 (Saturday). Order was shipped December 30 (Tuesday). Order was shipped UPS standard to Mount Pearl, Newfoundland ($25 shipping on a 10 lb order).

Shipped from Naperville, Illinois. Arrived in Windsor, Ontario January 2 and cleared customs that night. Arrived in Concord, Ontario January 3. Shipped from Concord on January 5, and no more UPS updates until January 12, when it was out for delivery. Received the package 10:30 local time via SameDay courier.

The packaging was very minimal, only used paper inside to stop the stuff from moving around. The tape on one of the sides of the box had come loose.

Overall, the experince was good. All the items ordered were received in good order. Shipping time wasn't bad, given that it was ordered over the holidays, it was shipped UPS standard, and it was shipped to Newfoundland.

I would purchase from TigerDirect.ca again in the furture, and I would recommend others to buy from them. Called them a few times to get the status on the order. Only once did I not get an answer."

"This company considering is large has a store front locations in Canada. Yet my order online is taking close to 2 weeks to get to me and it was in stock. The problem is that they do not tell you that the items are coming from some corner in California or Texas or where the damn they make or ship from these items. Then to make matters worst after they ship from those places they once again go to another location where they are shipped again. Shipped twice and handled like they were basketballs on conveyors, it your order arrives in one piece you'd be lucky. The issue is that they are shipped more than once and instead of coming from the originating online store or warehouse they are shipped from some other company who you don't even know is reputable or not ie: Dropship. If I only knew this is how they handle items that are considered in stock I would have skipped them and paid an extra $20 just to get my item in 5 days or less from another source. NewEgg ships faster on items originating in the US. What is wrong with this picture, I've shopped with TigerDirect before and questioned this same practice. I have forgotten maybe about the previous mess but this time I'm not going to forget this. TigerDirect direct my computer parts are sitting on my desk waiting for the computer case I ordered. Where the hell is it and why haven't I received it yet. I've called and called so many times, apology after apology and they never once asked if I wanted them to expedite the order on their expense because of this stupid way of doing business. If the item isn't in Canada or isn't available in a short period of time indicate it. If the item isn't going to be able to ship within a specific time frame because of drop shipping or say being incompetent and not stocking an item indicate it. Gawd the frustrations of having to try to get a computer going where you have your parts hanging allover just to wait for a case. This is so frustrating unless Tiger Direct start stocking more items or having them shipped in a speedier manner and not use horse and camels maybe I'll consider ordering from them again. Until then I'll order somewhere else and get my orders within a human time scale."
