"I have always had great service from Tigerdirect. thsi was only slightlydifferent when on item was on backorder the order status did not inform me of this fact. I had to call with regards to the order only to find out the item would not be available for 2 more weeks. I needed this in order to complete a task I was working on. The customer rep I spoke with quickly found a replacement item, but I had to pay more. It would have been nice if Tigerdirect had offer the replacment at the same cost as you had not identified that the item was on backorder.

I will continue to use Tigerdirect for future computer needs.

"The item I purchased was of good quality and at a reasonable price, but the shipping was terrible. I ordered the item December 3 and received it December 12. It was shipped by UPS and took the same amount of time as if it would have been shipped regular mail. I don't think I should have to pay a premium for using a courier when there is no benefit and when I shop at Tiger Direct for lower prices in the first place. Not only is it more expensive, but using UPS is less convenient for me because I have to get things shipped to my workplace because I am not at home to receive the shipment during the day.

I shop infrequently at Tiger Direct solely because of the high shipping costs. This experience reinforces my aversion to Tiger Direct."
