My last online purchase was for two refurbished items -- I like the retailer's options to buy items listed as specials, out-of-the-box, overstocked items, and/or recertified or refurbished. The prices on the two refurbished electronic items were great and they were delivered sooner than expected -- a typical TigerDirect experience. The UPS tracking feature with each order/invoice notification is handy.

Through the years, I have purchased many items through TigerDirect. Pricing is very competitive. Also, it is a good site for comparative shopping. Usually there is a lot of info about each product so you can learn about product features, compare different products, compare prices, read product reviews, and then see if local retailers offer something competitive. As a rule, the large selection of computer components means that local retailers cannot compete for price or selection.

Like box store purchases, occassionally I have had a problem with an item I purchased. I have never been burned or left less than happy with TigerDirect. Telephone support services are good and sending a product back has not been a problem. Basically, I shop with confidence.

Overall, selection is great, prices are good, free shipping specials are always a bonus, and I often end up buying more than what I started shopping for because there is always something else I find that is too good a deal to pass up.
