"At Thursday @ 10:44am I purchased from Tigerdirect.ca by calling a service Rep to make sure that my item would be shipped the same day. I gave them my credit card info and was told that it would for sure be shipped out today for sure. (I would have gone to the store in burlington and purchased this item directly - however it is only available online) I was told that I would recieve an email confirmation by the customer service Rep - which I did not recieve. I then called customer service at approx 1pm, I spoke with a female staff member who again assured me that it was currently being processed and shipped out today from the warehouse. (I live 1hr and 30 mins from the warehouse) I took friday off work to wait for the UPS delivery and to my surprise it did not arrive. I emailed customer service and they gave me this form letter stating this--
Dear Valued Customer,Our warehouse is currently experiencing some delay in processing orders. I have sent a request to the warehouse to have your order processed as soon as possible. We apologize or any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Thank you for visiting our website. We appreciate your business. So basically a bunch of BS. I then contacted customer service and waited on hold for about 30 mins, finally getting a rep on the phone who again gave me the run around. I wasted an hour on the phone with service rep Mike who said he could not refund me, because the order has been processed, but it has not left the warehouse. If you look on tiger direct.ca website it stats that you can cancel or change your order, however when you call that simply isnt the case. They say that even though your order has not left the warehouse, you cannot cancel it. I again just got off the phone. After speaking with the Service Rep (spend 25 mins on hold while the rep who is from somewhere in the USA attempted to tell me what is going on in a Canadian warehouse)I found out again that my order would not be shipped again today! I think this is poor business practice. I have an installer lined up to do the work and he is scheduled to be here tomorrow, but now I will not even see this mount until sometime next week, and definately not monday as it is not being shipped out today. After hearing this I requested a complete refund. After waiting to hear if the refund would be granted on hold for like 30 mins, I was told that it would be granted. The rep was at ext 5922, he gave me this number for reference. I asked him what assurance he could give me that it would be granted and all he said was that hes trying to cancel the shipment however, he is unsure if it can be stopped? (It has yet to leave the warehouse) He stated that I would be issued a refund and he would "try" and stop the shipment. Im not going to hold my breath.
I had a horrible experience with this so called Canadian company who has the call centre in the USA and has really no idea what is going on or any correct answers..
I will never purchase a thing from this website and or store as long as I live, and I cannot get the 3 hours of time I wasted back let alone not getting the item on time and money paid to book installer back.
ORDER update.. after being given the run around today , I recieved a refund notification via email. It seems they were infact able to refund as I requested. The staff earlier all stated that they could not refund me my money.
I am satisfied with getting a refund. I really do wish this item was available at the store level as I would have just purchased it and cut out this nonsense.

"The delivery took only few days. I bought a refurbished item, it is in a decent state, though a very careful look may see it's been used (perhaps for several days).
The only bad thing is that on many items there is a restocking fee up to 25%, whuch is much worse than for other sellers in Toronto (Staples, Walmart), but except this TigerDirect is the most serious player on computer market.

Customer service is ruthless and awful, they said whatever their decision is final. Customer does not even have a way to dispute or complain. They said do whatever you want, we are not give you back the money. They do not care about customer.

You mentioned "The monitor did not have any defective pixels", that is exactly why I don't feel good and felt have to post my opinion here. I am a computer professional with 15 years experience, I know what is bad pixel and how to test it (you actually don’t need to do anything special to test, you can see it with bare eyes if use pure color wallpaper). Your customer service wouldn’t explain how they tested it and wouldn’t listen to me either. I said I could go to your Richmond Hill warehouse to meet your technician in person and show you where the bad pixel is, they said no way; I said I took a picture of the screen, the CS manager said, you might have modified the picture; I said I may call my credit card to stop payment, she said, go ahead, we already processed the transaction. I insist the monitor has defective pixel (I can prove if Tiger gives me a chance) and should get full refund.
