This is my first (and last) purchase from this store. They were extremely helpful with before-the-sale information. Their site said the item was in stock. They went far to earn the order.
The bad news is that it's their policy to immediately charge your credit card, whether or not they have any product to ship (that's what they told me 21 days later when I've been billed and have no product in my hands yet). I've called everyday for days now, I'm told by Customer Service that someone will call back. Nobody calls back. Only certain employees are able to talk to customers with problems and you have to time your call for when they are on shift.
So, finally after 21 days, I get hold of the person that can tell me what's up. Somehow they managed to misplace the order (for $1000), but they didn't forget to charge my credit card. They seem to have placed the order to their "offsite warehouse" (their supplier since they probably never had the item in the beginning). Now I have been told to wait until next week (maybe Monday) and hopefully a product specialist will phone me to tell me what's going on. Why can't they empower all their employees to tell me what's going on?
What's more, they have no cancellation policy so I can get a refund to my card. They want me to wait forever and when they finally ship it, I can refuse it and once they get it back, they will then discuss giving me some form of credit.
What a nightmare!
Update: They finally shipped but sent it to our company's accounting office which is 650 miles away. At least we've got something in our possession."
"Ordered a Delta dust collector on Friday after normal business hours. Website indicated item was in stock and usually ships in 2 business days. It took 4 phone calls and 7 business days before the item was shipped. The email they sent said shipped via Fed Ex the status page on their website which links the tracking number to the carrier pulls up UPS and the actual company that issued the number is someplace called Averitt Express. I still do not have the machine, hopefully it really is in transit. Overall my worst internet shopping experience to date."
