"I ordered a TOW HITCH TACOMA and TACOMA HARNESS KIT, total price $470.53. Plus I paid $350.00 to have it installed. Just before the harness was installed the tech informed me that harness kit didn't contain the TOWING TAIL RELAY. It is listed as an item that is included in the kit. I instructed the tech to continue installing. I'll contact Toyoyapartsdeal.com later to send me the part. Should there be a problem the Towing Tail Relay is a small fuse type item that may cost around $15.00 or $20.00 at a Toyota Dealership.

I contacted Toyotapartsdeal.com and informed them of the missing part. I was told that the Towing Tail Relay in not included in the kit. I explained it is listed it the instruction parts list as item 10, and one of the items that are included in the kit. I was put on hold for a couple minutes. The employee returned and explained that the Towing Tail Relay is not needed with my model year Tacome. I read the instruction booklet for the TRAILER WIRE HARNESS, cover to cover, and nowhere did it exclude the part on the 2006 Tacoma. I call back, explained the situation, put on hold for a couple minutes. The employee return and explained that it is needed and I would have to return the entire harness kit for a replacement. I told the employee that all I need it the relay. He stated that relay is not sold separately anywhere. I explain that I already paid to have the harness and hitch installed. Now I have to pay to have the harness removed and replaced? The employee then explained that the item can not be open, installed, and must be in original packaging. I asked the employee to send the information on returning the item.

Yesterday I stopped at a Toyota Dealership parts department, explained my situation, they checked the inventory, and sold me the Towing Tail Relay, paid $25.15.

I am NEVER PURCHASING ANYTHING from toyotapartsdeal.com. My daughter has a Tacoma and I told her of my problem with toyotapartsdeal.com, and she told her friends not to go to that site.

When I called LOCAL DEALER the same part # includes SHOCKS thats why Its called ABSORBER SET, SHOCK per description. Once I placed the ordered then their was a price increase email.
I still ordered here due to the price difference But I learned my lesson.
I would like to add I ordered the part on Friday they shipped the part on next Thursday takes them about a week to ship the item and the box was opened, damaged.
