"Great customer serv from parts dept."
"I ordered this accessory online and set to pick it up at the dealership. The online process was a breeze and the part came in the very next day. That part of the process was very convenient and satisfying. I showed up at the dealer when I got the notice that the part was in, stood at the parts and accessory counter for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, when they did I gave them my name and told them I ordered it online they handed me the part and walked away, once again proving that the dealership experience is a complete joke. "
"Ordered an automatic tail lock for my Tacoma with Gladstone parts online and picked it up the next day without issue. The kit was perfect, had all required components and worked immediately. 100% would recommend."
"Order was canceled without any notification "
"Tried to buy alternator, online. Status is "on hold". Called dealer, they could not give any answers when I get my alternator. As of today, status online is "On Hold". Why are they holding it? How long are they going to "hold it"? Should I try another dealer? Etc. Too man questions. When I called dealer, I got no answers."
"Everyone was very friendly through the entire process at Toyota of Gladstone however what kept me from rating this a 5 was that even though the deal was basically done electronically when we came in to actually purchase the car the numbers were off and if I didn’t already have my electronic deal to refer to I would have potentially missed it. It took several attempts to get the written deal to match and eventually even though we weren’t trying to negotiate, like I said. The deal was already agreed upon electronically but after several attempts to “get this corrected”. Same thing happened in finance only with different numbers. It makes a person feel like someone is trying to slide in $500 - $800 where they can and that is unsettling. "
"I used the Gladstone Toyota parts website to order something for our van. It was very easy to use. The process was quick and painless. I got an email within a day that my part was available for pickup. Once at Gladstone Toyota they quickly found the part and I was on my way. "
"Parts arrived quickly and as ordered. Received friendly and attentive service from staff."
"Sent the following to the Service Director on Nov 29th:
On Nov 22nd at 9:30am I arrived at your dealership for my first oil change. My mileage was 4788 and I was informed by my service advisor, Jackson Tran, that Toyota’s Care Plan oil change is at 10K miles. I informed Jackson that I was told differently by another dealership but regardless I wanted my oil changed and that I would pay out of pocket. Jackson said he could service my truck under the 10k service which would include an oil change. I agreed to his offer even though I was more than willing to pay for the oil change. The service took a little more than an hour and I drove my truck home. The next day I pulled my truck out of my garage and noticed a drop of oil on the floor. Not a puddle, just one drop so I pulled back in to my garage on my wife’s side to inspect my truck. The first thing I noticed is the oil on my cross frame by the oil drain plug, and the oil filter housing that was still covered with oil. Both of these areas should have been cleaned at the dealership as part of the service. Next there are 2 Plug Hole Drain covers, part # 90950-01A24, that were crushed during the service due to improper location of the hydraulic lift mount. Toyota has a Tech Tip bulletin regarding the proper placement of such lifting point to avoid this damage. Finally, the lifting points on the rear of the frame were incorrect, not spanning the entire width of the Frame rail put undue stress on the interior frame rail resulting in bending the frame. I sent a text to my Service Advisor only asking for replacement of 2 Plug Hole Drains, a $3.00 part, - CRICKETS. I am writing this long email to give you a head’s up as to what is going on in your service department and to request replacement of my Drain Plug Covers.
Later that day I receive a response from the Service Director Carrie Colton. He apologized for the service event and offered to replace my plug hole drains and provide a free oil change certificate. At the time I was impressed with Mr. Coltons quick response, however it is now Dec 14th and I still do not have my drain hole plugs. I can only assume that Mr. Colton delegated the task to ship the parts and his staff failed to follow his instructions. "
