"First time buyer. Communication was good, I did appreciate that, but they wouldn't ship parts just because I couldn't give them a VIN. In my particular situation it was just a couple bolts, and they were for a transmission that I have swapped into another car, so there was no way I would ever be able to get the original VIN. I have never experienced that from any other company, and I have ordered a lot of parts from a lot of different websites. For someone like me who is always ordering different parts for different projects, it makes it very frustrating. Because I never ended up receiving anything from them, I have nothing else to judge them on, but I don't want to put one star because they did appear to actually have the parts I needed.

"I received an email concerning my order - I had to pay extra shipping and they won’t even deliver it to my house (to a city an hour away from my home instead). I responded to the email the same day, but almost a week later no answer… it’s kind of ridiculous having to pay 200$ of extra shipping for something that already cost me about 1400$. Next time I will consider to buy from somewhere else, where they respond to their customers at the very least."

"I ordered product Jan 27th and product arrived shortly after the new year which was helpful. All the parts are top quality. The web site is a bit heavy to use but that is to be expected with so many models, years of cars. The online chat is good and if you are not sure you have selected the correct item for your vehicle, leave the information in the chat and someone will email you the next day with an answer.
As for pricing, some things are good and some things are unrealistic like shifter cables for a 2005 Echo which are more expensive than my German BMW shifter cables.
Like I said this is the first time purchasing through Toyota Parts Direct and I have a $1500 budget for my Echo but I doubt very much I will be spending it with them because the prices are so high."
