Being new to photography, that was much appreciated, since I would have been disappointed if I would have received the camera, then not to be able to use it. "My purchase experience was great. I had done a lot of research on the camera I wanted and then used an online search for the camera at a variety of sellers. Tri-state had the camera listed for a very good price - considerably less than what I found on Am&*@n (and several other sites). I went to their website, read about them, felt I could trust them as they are an actual brick and mortar store in NYC with a long history, and had what I felt was a reasonable return policy (just in case). After I placed my order, they actually called me to verify a few details, ask if I wanted SD cards, didn't overly push when I declined, shared some advice on SD cards, offered an extended warranty that provided some annual cleanings and explained that I could have the camera serviced at any authorized Canon servicer (since I'm in Ohio), then told me the camera would ship that day and probably be at my home in 2 days. It arrived as expected and all is good. "
