My only concern was that I was not able to be sure that the binoculars came supplied with a strap and case. However, not even the Nikon website provided that information, so I took my chances. I am happy to report that a strap and case were in the box as well as the fantastic Monarch 5 10x42 binoculars. I can spot butterflies from a distance as well as birds, or cones and flowers high up in a tree's branches. I am cross-eyed and wear glasses and am pleased that the smallest interpupilary distance works for me.
