"User friendly website. East to order. Received purchase in short time. Pleased with item and service."
"Ordered a camera, it shipped the next day. Before shipping they called me to let me know it was on the way and wanted to check details with me, including letting me know about a deal on an extended warranty that wasn't evident when I ordered. Great price, great service, great delivery."
"Got everything I ordered in good condition and it arrived 4 days before scheduled. Got to love it. "
"Good prices. Happy overall. "
"Great camera, fast shipping."
"I've depended on RR for reviews of a lot of online companies before doing business with them. I used this for for Tri-State Camera (TSC). I wanted a pair of the Sony WH-1000MX3 headphones and TSC had the best price, free shipping and no tax for my address here in Florida. I ordered them on the the 13th, they were shipped on the 14th and on the 15th, I had still not received any conformation they had been shipped. I called the number on the bottom of the order confirmation email and after being on "silent" hold for about a minute, I got a polite CS rep and she apologized and emailed me the tracking number. On the 16th, I finally got the "automated" shipping confirmation message.
The headphones were delivered today (the 19th) via UPS and they were exactly as advertised, brand new. And they were almost $100 cheaper than Best Buy, Amazon, B&H and may other "e-tailers."
I will definitely shop with them in the future. The only suggestions I would have is:
1. Better email when the item ships.
2. When calling, if placed on hold, play some music or at least make some sort of sound so the customer knows they haven't been disconnected."
"This is my first experience with TriState Camera and i am very pleased with it. I bought a Canon 'bridge' camera and normally would not have done that thru the internet. I have some gift certificates for Best Buy which is my go to store for electronics. I knew what type of camera I wanted and was just doing my 'do diligence' and checking prices on the internet (I fully expected Best Buy to be amongst the lowest) when i saw a price posted by TriState.
Best Buy price was $549.99, TriState price was $409.99. (plus free shipping, i live in California so this was a consideration also). I was floored when i saw that and actually called TriState to see if they were real. I was quite pleased when a real person answered the phone and we had a nice conversation. I ended up ordering the camera and a week later it showed up at my door, total cost to me $409.99 taxes and shipping included.
TriState will now be my first stop when looking for cameras and photo equipment.!!!"
"The entire transaction experience was satisfying. Everything went smoothly. The product arrived in great condition. The services were very nice, because they will call to check over all the information with you before they ship the package. However, only down side was that I did not receive the tracking number for the product until it had already been delivered. Aside from that note, everything was great !"
"I was having some issues with my order and customer service did everything that they could to fix it quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be returning next time I need something. 10/10."
"This was my first time doing business with Tri-State and I'm happy to say that I received everything I ordered quickly and as promised. I would do business with them again without hesitation."
"Was easy to find a bundle that met most of my needs then was easy to add one additional lens. I called with a question but they did not call back so we will see when the camera arrives if it has US at the end of the model number otherwise it will be returned"
"It was my first time to purchase of a Nikon camera with TriState Camera, and it was smooth and easy experience. I received my order in 3 days safe and sound. Highly recommend."
"Ordered what I wanted, guy at the store actually called me ( I like that), gave a deal on a carry bag etc, and my stuff was on the way with UPS tracking.
Highly recommend!"
"The camera I purchased failed to lock the SD card from the first try. When I returned it they said I had damaged the SD card holder and voided the warrantee. I believe the camera was defective when I received it.
I have to amend this review with new developments. I received a phone call from the vendor this morning and he told me that if I would amend this review to 5 stars they would return the broken camera to me. I told him I would give them a 5 star review if they sent me a working camera. He said I would have to pay an additional $125 for that to happen. Finally I agreed to delete my review and they would send me the broken camera back. Thinking about how the offer is akin to extortion I am leaving the review at 1 star."
"They called me to verify a couple questions about my order and then shipped the item promptly. Delivered on time. Very nice to have that kind of personal service!"
"I ordered a Nikon Coolpix P900 camera for $412.99 and when it arrived it was in a box with an open Nikon seal indicating possible refurb or grey market as the special seals Nikon uses is to prevent such tactics. Another hint was the warranty card showing the warranty to be with the seller (Tristate) which was not a warranty with Nikon which it would have been in a legitimate transaction. I specifically requested an exchange rather than a refund (Before I was warned about the opened seals etc.) Today I got an email from Paypal showing that Tristate was refunding my $ rather than supplying the camera I ordered. Terrific, I am on a short time frame to get camera before starting a trip. When I called and talked to Tristate I made it clear I wanted an exchange not a refund and was told that would be done. Again not trustworthy. I am very happy.
to get the refund and will be ordering the camera from another source later today. I paid $25 to mail the camera back to them and will not likely get that back... OH WELL...
Before considering a purchase from Tristate
