"Overall I am satisfied with my RetTag/UBID.

Of my 5 pc purchases, I had to return a DoA HP netbook (more the fault of the refurbisher than UBid, I'd say), and the Ubid return process was a little lacking on the return status notification process, but once it was received, I got my refund.

I am a big fan of the IBM/Lenovo refurbs (and one apple to play with :-) and feel I am getting a great product at a good value.

"It's more reliable than EBay, from what I've seen.

However, navigating the site is a little frustrating, and the selection pales in comparison to the vast private seller lists of EBay and Amazon.

I do have one specific complaint I have about the site. The site is not able to calculate and show the shipping estimate for me right next to the price shown in the search results, which leads to a lot of pogo-sticking back and forth as I realize that the item is not worth the auction price plus shipping.

Ubid does, however, manage to offer good prices on hair care products, and the interface is less cluttered than that of EBay, with its many banners, panels, and mouse-over popups all crammed into the fox.

Though I have enjoyed my brief foray into the site, I will not continue to shop here. "

I received the Bushnell Golf Pro GPS within a few days.
It works great, easy to program and use.
There is an undisclosed additional annual cost for the GPS service of $34. that is not and should be noted for the product however it is well worth it. I just placed a bid for two more units for my buddies that now want one.

"Horrible service with ubid.com. I order a ring for my wife 10 days ago. Ubid had no problem taking my money but apparently have a problem with sending the ring. They STILL have the ring. Their response is "I'm sorry it was a mistake that it was not shipped". I find it strange that the seller had 5 rings two weeks ago and today still is selling 5 rings.

I would not recommend ubid to anyone and will not shop there again."
