"The part arrived visually unharmed but I was disappointed that it was poorly packaged. An alternator packaged in a box that could fit at least three more alternators added to the package, should have more packing cushioning than a foot and a half of paper shoved in the box. This was a heavy box and the alternator had no cushioning in between it and the bottom of the box. So the shipping company that has no reason to be careful with their packages, especially the heavier ones, could have damaged the part I ordered. I just hope that nothing is wrong with the part as I have to pay somebody to install the part for me so this could end up being a costly mistake for me. I have ordered from US Auto Parts before and have been happy so I hope for the same outcome that I have become accustomed to."

"I first started shopping with US Auto parts about a month and a half ago, being a little squeamish when it comes to online retailers I was hesitant. Naturally I checked out their ratings and feedback comments and figured I'd give them a try. I couldn't help but think how on earth could they be making money with their prices, or maybe the parts were 'seconds' or overruns. Well to my delight I was very much surprized, the products they offer are the the same quality if not better than found at your local Autozone, Pep Boys or any of those other discount retailers. Also, their shipping is fast and inexpensive, and dealing with US Auto parts is virtually hassle-free.
To give you an idea of the savings, I recently purchased a pair of 'Quick-Struts' by Monroe, the best price I could find locally or online at the national discount auto parts stores was over a hundred dollars more per strut. Here's the kicker, are you ready for this; on top of the ridiculously low price, they gave me another 15% off of my total order. Wow! was I excited. In this economy that's quite a deal and I can sure use the savings.
That's the kind of stimulus we need. US Auto Parts, you have made a customer for life.

"The parts arrived much faster than I expected, I had them the second day! The parts were all correct and performed exactly as described, the only negative thing I can say is the front brake pads were out of stock and another ceramic pad was not available from another manufacturer, however I was notified by cellphone and on email almost immediately and the parts tech checked to see if another brand was available sadly it wasn't, but the amount for the out of stock parts was credited to my account rapidly. I had to buy a more expensive pad locally to keep ceramic pads on all four wheels. I will definitely use US Auto Parts again, for my old Mercedes they consistently have what I need and get it to me quickly. "

"Company shipped wrong part - Description on the web site was actually wrong - was not only the wrong bank o2 sensor, but california emissions version, which made it unusable. More than two customer return email requests and 40 min on their customer service line (I don't think anyone even answers that phone), I gave up trying to return the part(s). I will never use them again."

Ordered a A/C compressor for an overnight delivery at a very high price for it to be delivered on Tuesday June 22, and was assured by rep it would ship that day. It didn't and I had called back that evening and the next day for the tracking number which they had never provided. in addition, I was assured that the part had shipped and it didn't.
After 2 days of calling I had requested to speak with the manager with no success. I was assured by customer service that the part had shipped overnight and I would receive it on June 22, 2010. Nevertheless, the part never shipped.
This company had caused my family an inconvenience. We had stayed an extra night in a hotel waiting for an air conditioner. My family had to ride from Little Rock, Arkansas where we were stranded back to Houston,Texas and the heat index was 105 degrees.
This company cannot be trusted! They are insensitive to the customer needs and the are full of deception!

"My Mercedes Benz E320 Front air suspension broke on 06/21 and towed the car to my repair facility Carx. They found the air strut to have failed and needed replacement. The local MB dealer did not have stock and informed it is back ordered in US and need to come from Europe and will take two weeks time. Another repair facility that had this stock quoted a very high price about $300 more than the dealer price of $1200. I took the part number and started searching internet. Located US auto parts.net and found a similar part there. did a chat with the live chat person and she guided me correctly. She took my car vin number to compare the chasis number and suggested the correct part number. The list price was $855. I did some more search in the internet and the same part was offered at $752 from partsgeek.com. But the reviews on partsgeek was not good. So I ordered on auto parts and took overnight delivery option at an extract cost of $30. I was mentally prepared for delay in shipment and excuses from us auto parts. I ordered at about 4.30 PM CDT. To my surprise I got an email from US auto parts at about 11.15 PM that the item was shipped. The part reached my home at about 12 noon the next day. Took the part to my repair facility and they confirmed the part is correct. The part was replaced and my car was out by evening. Excellent service from us auto parts. Highly recommended from my experience.

"11/16/09 - Called usautoparts.com up to order brake pads and rotors. The guy said they have the parts in stock.
11/19/09 - I get a call saying they have the pads but the rotors I ordered are not in stock and if I wanted to go with a different brand. After some frustration I said I will go with a different brand if you are willing to ship me 2 day shipping with no additional change. He said okay and processed the order at the end of it he is like no we cannot do that. I got mad and canceled the order.
11/20/2009 - Placed an order with autopartswarehouse.com not knowing that they are the same company. Order over the net went fine, everything was in stock. After 2 days same thing I got a message saying they don't have the rotor in stock and if I wanted to order diff. set of rotors. Since I was loosing time already I went ahead and ordered. By this time I had already spend about 2 hours on the phone. I still have logs of the call.
PROBLEM - They did not cancel the 1st order and I received 2 sets of brake pads. I called them to return it without paying the shipping charge. Spend about 10 min wait for the customer service and then 50 min wait for the RMA. I was already agitated by this time and while trying to explain the whole situation all over again the guy hangs up on me. I call back again and asked for a supervisor and he was like there is not much I can do but to transfer you back to the RMA department and now while I write this I have been on hold for 52 minutes.
Be very careful with this company. Yes there is a chance that you will get the product and no hassle but then is a VERY good change your orders will be screwed up and you will spend half of your life trying to get in touch with them on the phone.
